The Role

You will hold Strategic oversight over IPS Grow data analysis and business intelligence functions and, in collaboration with expert Digi colleagues, IPS Grow digital tools.

Key responsibilities include:

• Co-design a data and digital strategy and plan with colleagues across IPS Grow with support from Social Finance’s Data and Digital Community of Practice and other key stakeholders. Ensure it is delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Responsible for ensuring that accurate, timely data analysis and reporting is provided to the IPS Grow team, to commissioners and to other key stakeholders (e.g. Health Employment Partnerships Board; IPS Expert Forum)Line manage relevant staff within the IPS Grow team, agreeing their work package and ensuring it hits key strategic objectives agreed in conjunction with the Director for Operational Support – IPS Grow.
• Provide high quality support to the engineering team working on the IPS Grow tool. Ensure close collaboration between IPS Grow and the Data and Digital Community of Practice to deliver against the data and digital strategy and plan. Ensure that staff at every level of IPS Grow have access to dashboard reports that bring together key data from multiple sources in ways that meet their needs and support good decision-making. 
• Take overall responsibility for the quality of IPS Grow data to ensure accuracy, value, completeness, uniqueness, consistency, timeliness and validity
• Work closely with colleagues delivering the IPS Grow data tool to understand stakeholder data requirements and collaboratively review prioritisation in relation to the roadmap for the data tool.
• Co-ordinate and provide expert advice on data analysis and reporting across all areas of IPS Grow delivery, including delivery, workforce and research and innovation

The Team

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by the organisation in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

A core element of the programme is the expert assistance provided by a team of IPS professionals, known as IPS Grow Leads, to support providers to improve their fidelity to the IPS model and achieve better employment outcomes for their clients.

About You

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience of designing and leading data strategy at a senior level. This encompasses how we collect and manage data, as well as using analysis to produce relevant and actionable insights
• Experience of successfully managing senior stakeholder relationships,  including communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Expertise in Information Security and Governance and the associated standards and requirements when hosting and processing personal data on behalf of public sector organisations.
• Senior experience of leading data and analytics teams, including line and task management, and product management
• Expertise in the development and use of Customer Relationship Management systems, such as Salesforce
• Expertise in data analysis and business intelligence, including PowerBI, Tableau and/or similar analytics and data visualisation tools

They will hold a caseload of service users, acting as the key contact and contributing to care planning, progress monitoring, and discharge support using the clinical records system. A key focus will be the collaborative development of person-centred recovery plans that emphasise social goals and community integration. Using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches, they will build strong therapeutic relationships to support individuals in achieving their personal recovery goals. The role involves helping service users access local resources, attend appointments, and engage in wellbeing activities, peer support, or psychoeducational groups. They will promote recovery-focused, jargon-free communication, advocate for co-production and integrated care, and liaise with statutory and voluntary sector organisations to ensure smooth service navigation and warm handovers. Attendance at relevant clinical meetings and community events is expected, representing both Hestia and the Community Mental Health Team. Accurate and timely documentation of support activities, risk assessments, and user progress is essential, along with maintaining safe and ethical practice in line with safeguarding protocols, health and safety procedures, and quality standards. The role also includes active participation in ongoing supervision, training, professional development, annual appraisals, and clinical oversight.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 4 in Care (or equivalent) or at least two years' experience in a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of mental health, recovery, and co-production principles. They will be skilled in care planning, risk assessment, and group facilitation, with knowledge of the Mental Health Act and experience working collaboratively across services and communities. Excellent communication, IT proficiency (including electronic case management tools), and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential. The candidate should be resilient, adaptable, and committed to trauma-informed, person-centred practice, with clear professional boundaries. Desirable qualities include lived experience, peer support training, familiarity with local resources, and additional skills such as mentoring, report writing, or multilingual ability.

WE ARE SEEKING A SAFEGUARDING LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR

About the Department/Role

The Church of England is continually striving to improve its safeguarding practices. The 2020 report by IICSA on the Church highlighted failures in respect of child sexual abuse and, more broadly, the challenges facing the Church to get safeguarding right.

The Church's aspiration is that safeguarding is not experienced and approached as a matter of administrative compliance. Rather, it should be what the Church is - something that flows from its core beliefs and values, part of its DNA.

The Church has made important and positive strides over recent years. There is, however, still much to be done to keep children and vulnerable adults safe, and to promote their well-being. The Church is a complex collection of different bodies. Most of the safeguarding work is carried out locally within the 42 dioceses and cathedrals in England. This work is supported centrally by a National Safeguarding Team (NST).

The NST itself comprises three departments: Casework, Programmes and Administration, and Learning and Development, which provides high-quality safeguarding learning, policy, and guidance to those working, paid or unpaid, licensed or lay, in the Church of England. This role will be pivotal to delivering learning and development.

What you'll be doing

In this vital role, you'll join a dynamic team committed to nurturing high-quality safeguarding practice throughout the Church. You'll work alongside our two National Safeguarding Learning and Development Managers, delivering engaging in-person and online training for senior leaders, diocesan staff, and safeguarding officers.

Main responsibilities

• Deliver national learning events, including SLSP, with a focus on systemic theory and leadership development.
• Facilitate sensitive conversations around safeguarding culture, ensuring a safe and reflective learning environment.
• Evaluate the impact of training, contribute to continuous learning improvements, and support new pathway development.
• Organise and lead professional development programmes for Safeguarding Officers and Trainers.

Key role requirements

• This is a homeworking role; however, this position requires the post holder to frequently travel across England, visiting Dioceses and Cathedrals, including overnight stays and occasional weekend commitments.

About the role:

Key Responsibilities:

About the role

Hours and place of work

• This is a full-time role to be fulfilled over a 35-hour week, ideally within the working hours of Mon-Fri, 9:30am–5:30pm, with flexibility as required.

Terms, pay and benefits

• This is a permanent contract.
• Salary for this role will be ca. £55,000 p/a depending on experience.
• The post holder is entitled to 25 days of annual leave, in addition to UK statutory holidays.
• The office is closed for one week during the winter festive period (25-31 December), providing an additional three days of annual leave in addition to the above allocation.
• You have the option to join our contributory pension scheme. The employer's contribution is 3% with a minimum employee contribution of 5%.
