ABOUT THE ROLE:
The role is essential to delivering the charities income targets for Trusts and Foundations and developing long term relationships. In addition, the post holder will support the Head of Income Generation with approaching, reporting, and maintaining Trust and Foundation relationships for major appeals.
he Fundraising Officer will work as part of the Fundraising team and focus on delivering income targets from trusts and foundations. The role is responsible for growing LDCT’s trust and foundation income by increasing the amount and longevity of funding from current supporters, as well as building a portfolio of new trusts and foundations through research, maintaining a pipeline of prospects, updating the Funding Matrix and making successful applications. Building good relationships with new funders including regular reporting, as well as good stewardship of existing funders, is an important part of the role.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Delivering on fundraising priorities and targets for trusts and foundations income, including our current and future major appeals.
- Researching, identifying, and prioritising appropriate trusts and foundations to maintain and convert a pipeline of new, prospective trusts and foundations.
- Working with colleagues across the organisation to help shape projects for funding and creating strong Cases for Support to ensure effective applications.
- Writing and submitting high quality targeted funding applications.
- Maintaining an effective stewardship programme for trusts and foundations including appropriate accurate records, ensuring the fundraising e-Tapestry database is kept up-todate and that fundraising income is processed efficiently with timely thank you letters and acknowledgements.
- Managing relationships with existing and new funders to encourage maximum funding, multi-year funding awards and repeat funding.
- Monitoring outcomes, updating the Funding Matrix and producing timely reports and information as required externally by funders and internally for Management reporting.
- Promoting the support of funders through press releases and social media posts.
- Adhering to standards of fundraising best practise as set out in the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practise and ensuring all activities comply with relevant Data Protection obligations and any other legislation

In the role, you’ll be:
- You’ll be building relationships with a wide range of individuals, community supporters, networks and local groups to fundraise and build awareness of Stonewall Housing’s mission, with a particular focus on Birmingham-based individuals and organisations.
- Working with the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist on community fundraiser stewardship, where you’ll be providing support to individuals and groups fundraising for Stonewall Housing through their own events or running and challenge activities.
- Supporting the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist with refining, developing and implementing our annual programme of Stonewall Housing-led events, including cultivation, stewardship and fundraising events.
- Working with the Development Team to develop Stonewall Housing’s Legacy Giving programme, ‘Over the Rainbow’.
- Supporting the Training Lead by delivering engaging in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops to other organisations and networks across the public and private sectors. You’ll be empowering teams of all sizes to confidently meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people in their staff team or accessing their services. You will receive comprehensive and bespoke Stonewall Housing training in how to best deliver these sessions.
- Supporting the Development Team and the wider organisation by taking part in external panels and speaking engagement opportunities, confidently representing the work of Stonewall Housing.
- Developing new compelling cases for support both for individual donors and for broader fundraising activities.
- Using data and evidence to monitor KPIs and track trends, helping the Development Team make informed decisions.
- Supporting the wider Development Team with the day-to-day running of fundraising, comms, and awareness activity.
Your experience:
· Experience of developing and enacting ambitious strategic plans for a fundraising area (this could be Community Giving, Events, Individual Giving, Corporate Giving, or similar).
· Demonstrable understanding of implementing best practice to fundraising activities.
· A track record of building positive and prosperous relationships with supporters.
· Experience of developing engaging supporter journeys.
Your skills and attributes:
· Confident and enthusiastic public speaker, at both in person or virtual events.
· A creative problem solver with a solutions-focussed outlook.

About the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the Fundraising & Engagement Team. Acting as the first point of contact for all Fundraising & Comms enquiries and in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communications Strategy, this is a busy role and will require excellent stewardship and donor care skills as well as meticulous organisation and innovative thinking. As an Ambassador for Mind BLMK, you will need to have a passion for mental health and an ability to operate at all levels.
The successful applicant will generate income and support all aspects of communication and marketing, to help to maximise local support, raise awareness of our work in the community, and by providing exceptional supporter stewardship, in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communication strategy.
Key Duties
- Act as the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries and provide stewardship and donor care for Mind BLMK’s individual givers, corporates, groups, volunteers and other supporters of the charity, in line with the fundraising strategy.

Friends of the Holy Land are looking for an energetic, dedicated individual to join our fast-moving, growing charity.
Friends of the Holy Land has a small network of volunteer supporters around the country and an expanding number of financial donors. This new role will be responsible for communicating with these two communities, with a focus on preparing monthly emails to supporters, monitoring and moderating social media accounts, liaising with external partners to deliver external communications, developing donor stewardship and growing our volunteer network.
The role will also be required to help with regular office duties and will need to be familiar with all aspects of administrative support for the operational success of the charity. You will need to be comfortable working in a faith-based organisation, talking to supporters across the UK and with our partners in the Holy Land, and be competent in creating communications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the strategy to build philanthropic giving at EHAAT in consultation with the CEO, Executive Team, Trustees and Development Board, to support the charity’s objectives and long term aims.
- Deliver a fundraising plan across the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, including major giving, legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships, to achieve agreed strategic objectives.
- Provide excellent executive support and guidance to the Development Board and the Chair, and take a leading role in building the Board further by identifying and recruiting to its membership and the wider pool of Ambassadors.

We are looking to recruit a bilingual, French and English speaking, Grants Officer to join our dynamic team of dedicated sexual and reproductive health and rights specialists. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using our online Grants Management System Fluxx, oversee a portfolio of grants through a grant implementation process from grant set up through to grant closure, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Act as the operational focal person for grantees and provide support throughout the grant cycle on contractual, operational and reporting matters, drawing on and coordinating expertise from the Grants Managers and Fiduciary Risk Team (FRT)
- Provide support in the preparation and implementation of new grant calls, and support the selection and Due Diligence process when necessary, responding to all applicants whether successful or unsuccessful
- Regularly monitor the completion of pre-contracting conditions by grantees, and obtain appropriate sign-off internally
- Coordinate, draft and issue Grant Agreements and Addendums using our online system
- Provide regular and up-to-date information to operational management by tracking and monitoring grants, and sharing best practice and lessons learned across the portfolio of grants with other staff members and stakeholder

Job Purpose:
The Fundraising and Administration Officer role primarily focuses on providing excellent supporter care and administrative support within the fundraising department. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining supporter relations, optimising fundraising efforts, and ensuring efficient administrative processes are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporter Care:
- To be a first point of contact for the Fundraising Department, answering the phone and meeting and greeting people who arrive to the office.

- Ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgments, using both standard and bespoke correspondence.

- Efficiently process and reconcile incoming donations, received daily by post, online and phone. Bank cheques and cash on a weekly basis, and process credit card and CAF donations.
- Record all donations to Salesforce, ensuring the accurate coding of income to the correct source and supporter.
- Administer new Direct Debit instructions.
- Support monthly and quarterly reports demonstrating fundraising income received against budget, to inform the management team and provide accurate forecasting.
- Scan and upload credit card statements and invoices for payment by the Finance team.
- Record and reconcile petty cash expenditure.
- Assist the Finance team in the reconciliation of all income received, responding to any queries.
General Office Administration:
- Order office stationery and fundraising supplies, as required.
