We’re looking for a Youth Employment Mentor to join our team and provide progression mentoring and employability support.

The role

You’ll manage a diverse caseload of young people affected by military life, specifically civilian children aged 16-24 of a serving or veteran parent/guardian. You’ll support by helping them overcome barriers, raise aspirations, and take confident steps into education, training, or work. This means:

• Mentoring young people 1:1 and in groups to build confidence, CVs, and life skills.
• Designing and delivering workshops that inspire and engage.
• Building partnerships with schools, youth services, and employers to generate referrals and opportunities.
• Keeping on track - managing your caseload, recording progress on our CRM, and meeting KPIs to show the difference you’re making.

• engaging with residents through various community projects and services, some of which will be in partnership with other organisations;
• supporting and encouraging residents to access local health services for chronic conditions, severe mental illness and hypertension;

• collecting data and feedback on an ongoing basis, including case studies, and reporting regularly.

What will I be doing?

• Create a powerful alliance of Corporate Partners to influence science strategies and investment in areas such as advanced sensing, photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors, renewable energy, autonomous systems and medtech
• Secure long-term relationships by delivering impactful services that meet partners’ needs: working with cross-organisation teams to drive take up of IOP membership, professional registrations, thought leadership articles and access to publishing content
• Manage risks and ensure financial sustainability of the Corporate Partners Alliance

Projects you work on may include:

• Deliver annual series of leadership visits to Corporate Partners organisations to explore interests and common priorities around skills, R&D, infrastructure and business support
• Manage and deliver science insights and advocacy activities with Corporate Partners, via high-level meetings with senior stakeholders in government, industry, finance and academia
• Facilitate ideation workshops, prepare briefings and produce reports to develop new insights and seed new activities to support IOP and partner priorities

Who will I work with?

You are likely to have the following experience

The Role

The Finance Director will be both a hands-on and strategic role, working to ensure that the charity is making the greatest possible use of the resources available to it. We’re looking for someone with a degree (or equivalent experience) in environmental economics, climate change, sustainability, public policy or a related field; strong research and quantitative skills (Excel and ideally Stata, R or Python); excellent writing and communication ability, and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Benefits Include: 25 days per year plus statutory holidays with an increase of 1 day per year worked up to a maximum of 30 days in total.
Location: This role is based at the LUX London office. This position will require at least 3 days per week working at the LUX office. Hybrid working options available.

The Deputy Director main responsibilities will include:

• Develop and maintain operational policies, procedures, and risk management aligned with organisational values and Arts Council Investment Principles.
• Co-lead the business plan and long-term strategy with the Director, translating goals into operational delivery.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, audits, payroll, procurement, cash flow, statutory reporting, and fundraising and income generation strategies, ensuring compliance and value for money.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports to public funders, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure legal and governance compliance across charity, company, employment, safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection; support the Board of Trustees with reports and governance documentation.
• Manage operations, including admin systems, IT, building maintenance, insurance, accessibility, sustainability, and lease compliance.
• Lead HR processes: recruitment, contracts, onboarding, appraisals, staff development, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace with HR consultant support.

The Role

As Executive Director, you will be the senior officer responsible for the strategic leadership, policy development, office and staff management, financial control, stakeholder relationships and Company Secretary duties. You will ensure delivery of annual work plans, contractual compliance and organisational sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy, Research and Policy Development: Provide strategic direction, delivering CRER’s vision, aims and objectives; lead development and execution of strategy with staff and Board, setting policy, research and advocacy priorities.
• Governance and Operational Management: Act as Company Secretary; oversee OSCR compliance; support the Board’s duties through guidance and information; prepare annual budgets; ensure sound financial management; oversee management accounts and annual reports; maintain infrastructure and regulatory compliance; implement risk management; develop funding applications and tender responses.
• Staff Leadership and Development: Lead and line-manage a motivated team; maintain and apply the CRER Policies and Procedures Handbook consistently.
• Stakeholder Relations and Public Relations: Manage external relationships with BME organisations, third sector, government, funders, academia, and parliamentarians; represent CRER in strategic discussions, public events, media, and on social media platforms.
• Other Duties: Any additional tasks required for effective organisational functioning.

Our client is looking to recruit a Grant Manager (Arts, Culture and Heritage) to manage and further develop a portfolio of grants for their Arts, Culture and Heritage Programme.

The Role:
Grant Manager (Arts, Culture and Heritage)
Reports to: Programme Manager (Arts, Culture and Heritage) 

Working closely with the Programme Manager (Arts, Culture and Heritage) and Head of UK Programmes, the Grant Manager (Arts, Culture and Heritage) will be responsible for the development, delivery, and management of a significant portfolio of grants across the Arts, Culture and Heritage Programme. While this is primarily a UK-focused role, the post-holder will also support the development of the international grant portfolio (and also work on grant-making across other programme areas) as required.

The foundations have evolved significantly in recent years, and this is an exciting time to join the team.

The Person:
The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the UK arts, culture and heritage sectors' funding ecology, policy environments and cultural, social and economic impact. They will also ideally have a combination of significant experience of grant-making alongside experience of working within arts, culture and heritage organisations. Candidates will also have a keen interest and knowledge in the interconnections between arts, culture and heritage and environmental conservation, health and wellbeing and/or children and young people.

Given the foundations’ focus on strengthening the capacity of non-profit organisations, and in particular their financial sustainability/resilience, the ideal candidate will also have the necessary analytical skills and knowledge to assess and analyse organisations across factors such as leadership and governance, impact, financial health, business and strategic planning etc. They will also be adept at exploring how proposed capacity building projects will strengthen organisations under consideration for receiving funding.

In addition to excellent analytical skills, the successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to understand and articulate complex information clearly and concisely.  Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities will be key to success in this role.  Finally, you will have a high degree of humility and a collaborative style and will be able to pro-actively manage a diverse workload on your own initiative. 

Fundraising Lead

Salary: 47,000 to 57,000 dependent on experience
