About the role
As Senior Supporter Retention Officer (Loyalty and Regular Giving), you will lead the development of supporter-led, multi-channel fundraising campaigns. You’ll design bespoke supporter journeys that build loyalty and develop regular giving campaigns, including upgrade, conversion and reactivation. You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening relationships with both long-standing and new supporters of MAP, helping to grow sustainable income from existing audiences to fund vital medical aid.

Strategy & Leadership

Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity for a Data Services Manager has arisen at World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF).
WCRF is the UK’s leading cancer prevention charity focusing on the link between cancer and risk factors such as diet, body weight and physical activity.
We are seeking a Data Services Manager to lead and be responsible for the management, use and maintenance of systems and in-house CRM databases to support the achievement of the charity’s fundraising strategic objectives. You will be analysing and reviewing data and reporting on results that can then be used to build engagement with our supporters.You will also be responsible for a team of two people.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working with industry standard fundraising software solutions in the charity sector, ideally have knowledge of Claris Filemaker products and will have experience of creating new, and maintaining and updating existing, complex database systems.Experience of creating scripts and troubleshooting existing scripts is key, along with considerable hands-on experience of working with complex data sources, transfers and imports. An understanding and working knowledge of Data Protection regulations is required.

This role has been created to support the successful implementation, embedding, and ongoing optimisation of our new Housing Management IT System.
The post holder will ensure that income related processes—such as rent charging, arrears management, service charges, and financial workflows—are accurately embedded across all refuge services. This will include ongoing configuration and testing of the new system to ensure it meets our needs.
Alongside system implementation responsibilities, the post holder will lead on the effective management and reduction of rent arrears, including recovery of historic arrears. Operating within a performance driven framework, they will ensure income KPIs, compliance requirements, and data quality standards are consistently achieved.
A key purpose of the role is to promote financial inclusion, ensuring survivors understand their financial responsibilities, maximise income through benefits and entitlements, and build long term financial resilience.

Overall purpose
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Senior Team Administrator will take responsibility for managing the administrative requirements relating to the governance of the charity and of the senior staff team, and for ensuring Breaking Barriers operates efficiently as possible, ensuring that the organisation can be effective in delivering its mission.
You will have a strong knowledge of all aspects of charity administration, be able to manage a wide range of tasks, be able to work at a fast pace across all areas of Breaking Barriers’, and be able to drive new ways of working to minimise wasted time and resource, freeing up more staff time to best support our clients.
Key responsibilities
This is a new post at Breaking Barriers. The initial key responsibilities are described below, and the role will develop according to the charity’s changing needs.
Governance and management
· Organise and attend quarterly board of trustee meetings, including room booking and note-taking
· Arrange other meetings with trustees, including regular subcommittee meetings
· Work with the Chair, CEO and other members of SLT to finalise and circulate papers for meetings with trustees
· Manage the annual plan of trustee meetings
· Work with the Chair and CEO to support trustee recruitment, training, induction, and record keeping
· Work with the CEO and Director of Finance to ensuring that all regulatory reporting is fulfilled, and appropriate updates carried out, including in relation to the Charity Commission
· Maintain the record of policies and procedures, and take responsibility for ensuring these are updated by the agreed senior team leads in a timely manner
Cross charity support
· Be a central resource to advise on and make travel booking for all staff
· Be available to the HR manager to support significant administrative tasks, such as annual checks of staff data, and tasks relating to recruitment
· Be available to members of the leadership team to undertake administrative tasks as required, across a range of activities relating to fundraising, communications, services, programmes, finance and operations
· Lead on ensuring that data is stored on the charity’s systems in line with agreed policies and practice
· Take an active role in health and safety across the charity, including maintaining the health and safety and risk assessment register
· Monitor general email addresses, processing basic enquiries and forwarding enquiries to relevant teams
· Manage the London telephone number, answering calls and monitoring and responding to/forwarding voicemails
· Administer the alumni programme
· Support the Director of Finance and the HR Manager in on-boarding and off-boarding staff, including set up of devices
· Support the Deputy Chief Executive and fundraising colleagues in the management of donation platforms and similar processes
· Maintain relevant staff pages on Breaking Barriers’ website
· Support any work experience or intern scheme, ensuring colleagues are supported to learn throughout their placement
Senior team support
· Manage the administration of key organisational meetings, including regular meetings of the senior leadership team, joint leadership team, and all staff
· Ensure agendas for meetings and notes taken are circulated in a timely fashion, and action points are followed up appropriately

· Work across the charity to try to improve processes and automation, reducing unnecessary or repetitive work

RESPONSIBILITIES
Team operations and administration
Provide essential admin support including booking travel, purchasing equipment, managing the post, and supporting printing
Act as the administrator for most team subscriptions, online tools and softwares

About the role
This Operations & Administration Coordinator role is a diverse and hands-on role, covering a wide range of tasks and responsibilities that are essential to the smooth, efficient running of the organisation. It's a part-time position for three days (21 hours) a week.
You will provide day‑to‑day operational coordination across IT systems, office management, finance administration and HR processes, alongside varied administrative support.
