The Role
Theirworld is seeking a proactive and collaborative Manager to support the development, delivery, and learning of education projects and innovation initiatives.
This role will work closely with the Director of Programmes and the wider Projects team to support the design and coordination of pilot projects that test bold, locally driven ideas across Theirworld’s three core pillars: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in project management and delivery, innovation support, and strong coordination skills. They will work with diverse stakeholders, including community-based organisations, youth leaders, education NGOs, and policy makers to identify promising solutions, facilitate Theirworld’s accelerator programme, and gather insights to inform our broader strategy. The postholder will also contribute to knowledge sharing, event coordination, and organisational learning, helping ensure that new ideas are captured, tested, and amplified.
Main Responsibilities
Project Management
• Lead the planning and delivery of pilot innovative education projects, both internal and external, ensuring alignment with Theirworld’s strategic pillars and cross-cutting vital areas (gender, inclusion, climate, health & nutrition, peace & security).
• Coordinate project timelines, grant delivery, budgeting, reporting cycles, and partner check ins to ensure successful implementation.
• Support the team and local delivery partners with testing and pivoting through ongoing feedback mechanisms to strengthen impact and learning.
• Ensure project documentation, monitoring frameworks, and learning processes are maintained to inform potential scale.
Innovation Management
• Manage the day-to-day coordination and delivery of Theirworld’s Education Innovation Awards, including recruitment, onboarding, programming, and follow up with winning teams.
• Support the development and implementation of innovation focused interventions, tools, and methodologies across programme areas.
• Support in the coordination of internal innovation and contribute to the identification and advancement of high-potential concepts.
• Contribute to mentoring, capacity strengthening, and scale-readiness support for partners and youth-led initiatives.
Community Engagement and Collaboration
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with grassroots innovators, youth-led organisations, and education-focused non-profits.
• Ensure inclusive engagement practices, enabling meaningful participation of local communities, educators, and youth in programme design and delivery.
• Work collaboratively with other Theirworld teams (Campaigns, Communications, Advocacy, Research) to ensure cohesion and integration across programmes.
Learning and Knowledge Sharing
• Document insights, lessons learned, and emerging practices from pilots and projects
• Support the creation of learning reports, and briefs that contribute to Theirworld’s growing body of knowledge.
• Coordinate and support convenings, events, or workshops that engage internal and external stakeholders.
Cross-Team Contribution
• Actively participate in team-wide meetings, strategic planning, and internal initiatives to support programme delivery and organisational learning.
• Engage with our Development and Fundraising team to identify and support the cultivation of potential funders and supporters for the project pipeline
• Provide flexible support to the Director of Programmes and project colleagues on cross-cutting tasks, event coordination, or strategic priorities as needed.
Experience, Skills and Character
• 3–5 years’ experience in project and innovation management, education, or international development.
• Experience supporting or delivering accelerator, innovation, or grant programmes (especially within the non-profit sector).
• Strong interest in education access, inclusion, and the role of innovation in system change.
• Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication skills with strong written and verbal English skills.
• Collaborative team player, with experience working with diverse communities and youth networks.
• Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, iteration, and experimentation.
• Familiarity with digital learning, edtech, or grassroots innovation is a plus.

Personal Specification:
Essential skills, knowledge and qualities:
- Experience of working in a customer, member or client facing role
- Experience of developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Experience of using a CRM management system, preferably Salesforce
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to positively communicate with a wide range of people in a professional setting, with demonstrable ability to communicate effectively in challenging situations

The Development Assistant is an essential part of the Cathedral’s fundraising function and provides important support to the team, streamlining processes, acting as a first point of contact and managing the fundraising database for the organisation.
As Development Assistant you will:
· Have fantastic communication skills and excellent customer service as the first point of contact for all enquiries and managing the Fundraising inbox.
· Enhance the development team through robust administration processes and providing essential administrative support across all income streams, including administering the Cathedral’s Planned Giving scheme.
· Work with the Finance team to efficiently manage payment processes and administration and ensure timely acknowledgement of gifts.
· Support excellent donor engagement and stewardship through thank you letters, mailings, creation of literature and event co-ordination and support.
· Assist collating information and co-ordinating regular supporter communications across different channels to inspire people and demonstrate the impact of support.
· Deepen supporter relationships through accurately recording all income and activities on the Cathedral’s CRM system. Maximise the effectiveness of the CRM and keeping records up to date. (We are currently reviewing our systems, and this role will be instrumental in supporting implementation of any new systems.)
· Assist in the preparation and analysis of data and reports for use by the wider team to support future plans and activity.
· Amplify the prospecting work of the team by undertaking preliminary research and preparing briefing materials, in consultation with members of the team.
· Showcase the work of the Cathedral through supporting event organisation.
· Be keen to develop your fundraising skills and undertake relevant training and skills development to keep up to date with the changing requirements of the role.
· Support the team through additional duties as reasonably required to assist the smooth and efficient running of the Development Team and maximise the impact of the fundraising function. Some weekend and out of hours working may be required.

About the role:
This role is based in Ashford, Kent and is offered on a hybrid basis, working from home, the office and also requires regular travel travel across Kent and Medway.
As the Operations Manager for our Community Team you will be responsible for the daily activities of a diverse group of staff working with people who have experienced different crime types, reporting to the Area Manager.
You will need to demonstrate your ability to lead across many issues whilst retaining a focus on service delivery and quality outcomes from the work that we do.
This job is a busy one so you will need to manage competing priorities, very different personalities, challenge respectfully and have the resilience to bounce back when things do not work out as you would have wanted.
You will need:

- To remain empathetic whilst making sure staff are holding safe but challenging caseloads
- Able to work in partnership with other agencies and with team members.

We provide vital information, support services, and campaign for improved diagnosis and care. The Role
We are seeking a proactive, strategic Industry Relations Manager to coordinate our work across pharmaceutical and other commercial partnerships. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, this pivotal role will manage high-value contracts and relationships, manage impact reporting, and support the development of our organisational offer to external funders and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contract and Relationship Management
Lead on drafting, managing and executing commercial contracts
Support the CEO in managing key partner relationships, ensuring clarity, accountability, and delivery
Maintain a log of all agreements, deliverables, and reporting schedules, tracking and recording income
Produce clear, timely reports on income, activity and impact for both internal and external stakeholders
Help shape and develop a compelling offer to pharmaceutical companies that aligns with our mission and values
Identify new opportunities and work with the Executive Leadership Team, to proactively engage potential partners
2. Commercial Opportunities
Scope and evaluate new commercial opportunities
Make recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team on feasibility and alignment
Support the development of proposals and pitch materials for new income generating partnerships
Work with the Executive Leadership Team to support earned income generating activities across the organisation, improving associated structures and processes
3. Impact Reporting and Evaluation
Develop clear systems for tracking and demonstrating how contract income – particularly from pharmaceutical companies – is used across patient engagement and related activities
Work with internal teams to track all organisational events, and to gather data, stories, and case studies that show the real-world difference our work is making to patients and their families
Produce regular impact reports and tailored summaries for funders, awards bodies, and internal stakeholders
Support the creation of an organisational impact framework that aligns with our strategic goals and other requirements
Ensure all impact reporting meets transparency and compliance standards and is communicated in a compelling and accessible way
Support the CEO in Secretariat duties for the Board and Executive Leadership Team meetings, including collation of all reports and papers, minutes and actions.
Person Specification
This is a broad and varied role, so the key qualities we’re looking for are enthusiasm, initiative, a strong work ethic, adaptability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to take on a wide range of tasks.

The Individual Giving & Community Fundraising Manager will have an exciting opportunity to grow World Child Cancer’s individual giving. They will also lead on creating a donor experience that will ensure people can engage with us in lots of different ways, from a lottery or regular support, legacies, community fundraising and events (including the London Marathon).
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Managing and growing individual giving.
- Recruiting and stewarding individual supporters through existing channels.
- Helping to secure funding to invest in launching a World Child Cancer charity lottery.
- Stewarding participants to build a pool of regular givers, medium level donors, legacy donors and event participants.
- Ensuring fundraising data is effectively managed, analysed and utilised.
- Managing the challenge and community fundraising. Supported by the Fundraising Executive.
- Supporting the Fundraising Executive responsible for the planning and logistics for fundraising events.
- Working collaboratively with the other Fundraising teams and Marketing to ensure supporters get the best experience.
This is a hands-on management role so you will need to be prepared to do the work as well as managing. The post holder will be an ambitious, creative self-starter who is passionate about World Child Cancer’s programmes as well as our fundraising activities. They will work as well in a team as they do on their own and be happy to undertake administrative tasks as well as more complex fundraising projects. Championing supporter care across The Charity, you will lead on guaranteeing a high quality experience for our donors and supporters through their journey with us. - Manage complaints and assist other teams in responding to complaints, ensuring robust recording in the CRM
- Lead on new supporter care projects and activities
- Regularly review fundraising and complaint policies, updating documentation and processes as needed e.g. vulnerable persons policy
- Provide supporter care ‘consultancy’ for other teams and promote supporter care excellence
- Keep up to date on current fundraising regulations and legislation; share knowledge and best practice with the wider team
- Lead on planning, implementing and documenting team processes, striving to automate and improve wherever possible

- Support regular reviews of Gift Aid and ensure Gift Aid claims and income are maximised, working closely with the Finance team
