Kew’s Patrons programme is a community of leading pioneers, creatives and philanthropists linked by a shared passion to help protect the natural world for generations to come. We are currently recruiting for a Development Officer, Patrons to join our Development team at Kew.  The Patrons Officer is a key member of the team, helping to build and nurture this close community of supporters who are deeply invested in our work.  This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Patrons programme, including coordinating renewals, responding to enquiries and ensuring excellent donor care. The post holder will work closely with the Development Manager, Patrons to deliver the programme, implement the retention and upgrade strategy for existing Patrons, and cultivate new Patrons.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of personal initiative, a proven ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, and excellent organisational and administrative skills. They will have strong customer service and/or fundraising experience and will enjoy building relationships with a wide range of people.

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

Main Duties

• Lead on the project management, design, content creation and publishing of communications for the Philanthropy team (including impact report and newsletters) and work with translators to ensure communications are produced in other key ClientEarth languages
• Lead on the development of bespoke reporting for six and seven figure restricted and unrestricted gifts to produce high-quality, compelling reports tailored in style and content to suit a range of audiences in different geographies
• Work closely with the Philanthropy team to ensure gold standard stewardship for ClientEarth’s philanthropy donors: driving creative, unique and inspiring ideas for tailored stewardship touchpoints throughout the year;
• Partner with the Design Manager to deliver visually compelling reports and original donor stewardship touchpoints tailored to the Philanthropy portfolio;

About the Role 

We are seeking a capable, motivated Operations Manager to lead on the effective running of our charity’s systems and operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring our work remains efficient, financially sustainable, and aligned with our strategic goals. 

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Leadership Team, you will oversee the smooth functioning of our internal systems—including finance, CRM, IT, and communications—while supporting fundraising processes and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

2. Supporting Our Fundraising: Work closely with other members of the Leadership Team to identify fundraising opportunities, support with bid writing, and take responsibility for individual giving, managing our fundraising CRM, Donorfy. 

3. Supporting Change: Accountable for managing transitional change programmes across the organisation in respect to operational processes and procedures. Help our team adapt to new processes and procedures by providing guidance, training, and resources.

4. Financial Oversight: Understand the revenues and expenses of the charity in order to promote operational efficiency while managing cashflow risks. Whilst this role doesn’t require advanced experience in accounting or bookkeeping, the holder will take responsibility for day-to-day finance processes, including invoicing, account reconciliation on our account software Xero, and monthly financial reporting, as well as working alongside our external accountant. 

5. Communications and IT Fluency: Oversee systems supporting communications and marketing, including our social media platforms and website, ensuring effective collaboration with our external partners.

The Programme officer role is a key component of a CEC wide initiative to ensure that national objectives and strategies are aligned across the business and implemented effectively and consistently across our Career Hubs infrastructure.

This role will play a key part in supporting the implementation of the programmatic strategy for Work Experience as well as other strands of work. It will support in helping to translate national initiatives and policy aligned with our strategic priorities into operational programmes delivered through our Network of Career Hubs. Priorities and programmes may change and flex over time but work experience will remain a priority theme.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a natural collaborator, a strong communicator and have strong organizational skills, and some function knowledge of our priorities.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

About the job role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Estates Manager in our Estates team, working with a range of stakeholders and people who use our services. We are looking for an outstanding individual who has experience in the day-to-day management of our buildings and infrastructure and an ability to manage a dynamic and proactive, forward-looking maintenance environment, including reactive maintenance, water safety, fire safety, and statutory testing. and practical knowledge of CAFM systems and Microsoft systems.

You will also lead on health and safety, ensuring robust compliance, risk management, and safe systems of work across all estate and contractor activities.

About you

You will need:

• Strong technical knowledge of building services, maintenance, and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience managing contractors and planned maintenance programmes in a healthcare or similar environment.
• Confidence using digital systems, including CAFM, Microsoft 365, and data reporting tools.

Summary

The Church of England Pensions Board ("the Board") is a statutory body which is a corporate trustee and administrator of four pension schemes, including both defined benefit (final salary, hybrid and CARE) and defined contribution arrangements. Almost 44, 000 people and 700 Church organisations rely on the Board for their pensions. The Board also provides housing services, providing over 2,400 residents with retirement housing.

The Board's investment team stewards approximately £3.4 billion in a diversified investment portfolio. The team are responsible for ensuring these funds are invested responsibly and with consideration to the ethical values of the Church.

The purpose of this role is to support and deliver key responsible investment and stewardship functions within the Pensions Board, enabling the Board to maintain a position as a recognised leader in responsible investment. This role will be line managed by the Managing Director, Responsible Investment and will work alongside two other Responsible Investment Analysts within a Responsible Investment team of seven.

The Legacy Executive plays pivotal role in delivering exceptional fundraising services for our client Royal Trinity Hospice. You will be responsible for delivering excellent stewardship and supporter care – both of which are essential to achieving Trinity’s (and Compton’s) fundraising objectives.

You will inspire and support individuals in engaging with Legacy Giving, developing relationships that encourage a gift in their Will to Trinity. You will support in the development and management of legacy focused campaigns and products as well as exploring new opportunities for income growth. 

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Support the Head of Legacy Giving to identify, develop and maximise fundraising (and income) opportunities through fundraising products and events, and developing supporter relationships.
• Provide first class stewardship and donor care, ensuring donors and supporters feel supported and appropriately thanked.
• Manage general queries from internal departments and supporters
• Inspire new supporters while maintaining and developing existing relationships.
• Assist with the administration and management of Legacy products, such as Gifts in wills guide and free will schemes.

• Assist with the planning and implementation of Legacy mailings and events.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and well-managed admissions process for new residents and their families — from the first enquiry through to move-in day.

The role

You’ll act as the first point of contact for all admission enquiries, liaising with residents, relatives, local authorities, and healthcare professionals to deliver a warm and professional service. You’ll manage the admissions database, prepare information packs, maintain waiting lists, and oversee pre-admission administration, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

You’ll also support the wider Resident Services team — helping to create a positive experience for residents and families throughout their journey, and ensuring communication across clinical and non-clinical teams is timely and effective.
