The Role:
To assist in the delivery of a high-quality, widely respected and customer-influenced repairs and maintenance function by providing full project management support and customer liaison across the full range of Stoll’s property compliance and asset maintenance contracts and programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a positive image of Stoll to its customers, stakeholders, and other relevant outside bodies.
Provide input to the Corporate Plan and Team Plans through participation in Organisational, Departmental and Team Meetings.
Provide appropriate ‘team’ cover in the absence of other staff as reasonably requested.

Specific Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and implement the delivery of gas safety services to include annual gas safety checks to all dwellings and gaining access to inaccessible homes.
• Develop and maintain effective mechanisms to ensure all gas, LPG, oil, ASHP & renewables and solid fuel appliances are inspected annually.
• Maintain up-to-date and appropriate records for the proper management of the gas safety programme and all other property compliance programmes. This may include both paper and electronic records.
• Ensure that STOLL meet all statutory and HSE (Health and Safety Executive) requirements relating to all identified areas of property compliance including all elements of FLAGEL –   fire, legionella, asbestos, gas safety, electrical safety, and lifts.
• Work closely with the H&S Officer to ensure that work relating to fire safety is delivered appropriately and as required.
• Effectively manage appropriate facilities management and property compliance budgets and resources to ensure optimum service/programme levels are achieved.
• Process invoices and ensure contract payments are made in a timely fashion.
• Provide colleagues with itemised service charge estimates for tenants and leaseholders detailing the annual costs of servicing/maintenance/cyclical works.
• Ensure timely, accurate and relevant performance management information is available for review and can be produced for the property compliance function. Assist in monitoring performance targets to achieve continuous improvement.
• Assist with the preparation, administration and monitoring of facilities management and property compliance contracts and programmes. Prepare specifications and schedules and programmes of work. Issue works orders and monitor quantity, progress, and quality of works on site.
• Manage contractors daily across the full portfolio of facilities management and property compliance programmes, ensuring that contractors adhere to an agreed programme for each individual resident’s home and that collectively programmes are delivered on time.
• Ensure timely and accurate administration of all records relating to property compliance and facilities management. This will include input and record keeping and include supervision of contractors.
• Records must be maintained to a standard which ensures that all information in connection with servicing and testing programmes is readily retrievable when requested.
• Carry out site inspections of works in progress when required. Arrange and minute regular meetings with property compliance, facilities management and cyclical maintenance contractors either as specified in individual contracts, or on good practice grounds agreed with the Director of Property and Asset Management.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership role at North London Open Spaces, and directly contribute to and make a meaningful impact in the conservation and protection of these cherished green spaces. 

As a member of the senior management team, the successful candidate will serve as the primary subject matter expert at NLOS for nature conservation, conceiving and leading on initiatives, advising colleagues, and working collaboratively both internally and externally.  They will have responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day management of most of Hampstead Heath and all of Highgate Wood, and will also oversee a number of services that function across and support the four open spaces (eg, arboriculture and tree management, waste and recycling, conservation, and ecology).  

For the better performance of their duties, the Head of Conservation will be required to reside in accommodation that is provided on site and will be scheduled onto an on-call and duty manager rota with other colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for nature conservation at Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood, Queen’s Park, and West Ham Park
• Oversee the day-to-day management of Highgate Wood and most of Hampstead Heath
• Oversee arboriculture / tree management, waste management, conservation, habitat creation/restoration and management, wildlife management, water body management, and climate change adaptation across North London Open Spaces
• Lead and motivate a team of 25-30 multi-skilled professionals committed to the conservation of these four sites
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation, including environmental protection, climate change, nature recovery, wildlife protection, flood risk management, and health and safety.

About You

We are looking for a high-energy and innovative leader with a strong background in nature conservation, open space management, and team leadership. 

The successful candidate will bring:

• Demonstrable experience in managing complex public open spaces.
• Comprehensive experience developing and delivering biodiversity and land management programmes and projects in a range of habitats, ideally within an urban setting.

• Significant experience managing complex conservation work and projects across varied landscapes
• Significant knowledge of biodiversity and wildlife management, including land and water management.

• Strong experience managing a diverse team of professionals in an operational environment. 

• Experience of implementing legislation and policy relevant to biodiversity conservation, planning guidance, and site designation for wildlife conservation and species status designations.
• A highly creative, entrepreneurial and ‘can do’ approach to problem solving, with the ability to remain resilient in the face of challenges. 
• Strong quantitative skills and comfort interrogating and analysing data and budgets.

We offer 25 days of annual leave, to which we will add a day a year after 2 years (to a maximum of 30 days), as well as an extra five days as a one off once you have been with us for a full five years.

We recognise individuals’ preferences when it comes to where and when to work through a hybrid working model with a minimum number of days per month in the London office as well as the opportunity to apply for flexible working arrangements to suit individual´s needs.

Role description and core responsibilities 

The Office and IT Assistant plays a key role in the Foundation supporting a busy office, as well as providing hands on support to IT function.

This role goes beyond simply checking off tasks - It is about being confident, approachable, and unafraid to speak up when needed (yes, even with a lighthearted “Hey! Who left their mug in the sink?”).

Office Administration

· Act as first point of contact for general operational enquiries

· Manage post, deliveries and couriers for the Foundation

· Ensure that the office facilities are maintained to the highest of standards and any issues identified are escalated promptly and resolved

· Responsible for ensuring office supplies are maintained and ordered as required

· Responsible for reporting and following up with all office faults/issues to the Facilities Management Helpdesk

· Support office health and safety, including undertaking first aid and fire warden training

· Support Director of Finance and Operations and the Finance team with occasional ad hoc administration tasks as required

· Other general administrative support as required

IT Support

· Liaise with outsourced IT Support for devices setup for new and existing users

· Manage mobile phones for the Foundation

· Manage IT equipment (including Photocopier contract, AV Equipment) at the office and raise any faults with the relevant stakeholder

· Support the Business and Governance Manager with any other IT management as required

· Support Salesforce CRM Administrator with basic Salesforce administrative tasks

· Assist in the coordination of daily operational tasks and processes

· Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of orders, invoices, and inventory management

· Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth communication and operations

Relevant knowledge, experience and personal qualities 

Knowledge & experience:

· Significant office administration experience ideally with broader experience in at facilities management and IT

· Demonstrable experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels

· Strong IT skills are essential, particularly with Microsoft Office 365, Windows, macOS

· Salesforce CRM experience is desirable.

Where you will work: Grange Road is a 29 bed - high complex needs support project situated in Southwark, commissioned by the City of London.

About the role

In the role of Duty Worker, you will be the first point of contact at reception for St Mungo’s clients and visitors and have the opportunity to create a welcoming and supportive environment within the project. Other responsibilities will include:

• Jointly running the project day to day with other members of the team.
• Working on reception to answer phones, oversee entry to the building, and provide basic advice and support to clients.
• Keeping communal areas and office space clean and tidy.
• Coordinating important Health and Safety checks and other administrative duties.
• Work alongside the team to provide a person-centred support to residents and clients.

Shift pattern: 3 week rolling rota, mix of early and late shifts. 1 weekend worked every 3 weeks (both Saturday and Sunday are 12.5hrs shifts).
