The MEAM coalition has worked for fifteen years across more than 50 local areas in England, supporting local partnerships to tackle the structural and systemic issues that cause and sustain multiple disadvantage. We run the national MEAM Approach network, supported Fulfilling Lives from 2014-2022 and hold the current support contract for the Government and The National Lottery Community Fund’s Changing Futures programme. Our position enables us to bring learning together from these programmes to understand what drives change and allows people to make improvements in their lives.

This new role will be responsible for leading the implementation of our new network membership structure, and ensuring members are supported to actively participate in the MEAM Approach network. As the Membership Manager, you will build relationships with our network members, oversee communications to the network, manage our online community platform, and identify ways in which we can further support network members through commercial opportunities.  You will combine your deep knowledge of multiple disadvantage with a curious and collaborative approach to your work, demonstrating a genuine interest in developing and contributing to the growing knowledge and experience in systems thinking and systems leadership across the team. You will share your reflections and insights generously with the team and be open to positive challenge as you develop your practice.

The Major Giving Department at the NSPCC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to become part of the Statutory Team, securing significant income from national, devolved and local government, research grant-makers and commercial tenders.

The Senior Public Sector Development Manager will work with the Lead for Public Sector Development, the Associate Head of Philanthropy, another Senior Public Sector Development Manager and two Public Sector Development Managers towards a shared income target of around £5 million per annum. These funds will create ground-breaking NSPCC projects that support millions of children, and help prevent abuse across the UK.

The recruited fundraiser will work at both a national and local level to lead on securing six and seven-figure grants to help the Statutory team achieve its annual income target. Working across the charity, they will build relationships with senior stakeholders, and source and share information with funders through engaging written materials, phone conversations and face-to-face meetings. Alongside managing their own portfolio, they will think strategically and lead on maximising new public sector funding streams.

Purpose of the Post

• To Provide financial leadership and to be accountable for financial reporting to the leadership team, Board, and stakeholders.

Role responsibilities
The Finance & Operations Manager is responsible for:

Finance

• Preparation, monitoring, and control of the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provision of clear and timely management accounts to the senior team and Board of Trustees.
• Administration of the company’s financial systems through day-to-day bookkeeping including data entry, management of petty cash, processing of invoices and bank reconciliation.
• Liaising with the external payroll provider and payment of monthly salaries.
• Overseeing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and management of the annual independent examination.
• Supporting in the delivery of an annual report or funder reports as needed, including Arts Council England NPO reporting requirements and quarterly payment conditions. 

Governance

• Leading on the arrangements for Board Meetings and Away Days: minute taking, writing and circulating agenda and documentation, post-meeting minutes and communicating with the Trustees pre-meeting on location, time and attendance.

Administration & HR

• Day to day responsibility for managing the HR function of the company.

A lot of people know NCT for our antenatal classes, and we want to continue to support as many parents and families as we can to access evidence-based information. But we are also much more than this. We are a charity that campaigns on the issues that matter to parents. We run breastfeeding and infant feeding support, provided by specialist counsellors. We run thousands of free community activities and events across the UK, led by our fantastic volunteers. About the role

The Customer Experience Manager holds a pivotal position at NCT, managing the complaints, compliments and comments processes and procedures for the organisation, as well the post-booking journey and the team that supports parents once they have booked their course with NCT. This role, alongside the Bookings Journey Manager and Head of Operations, is responsible for the management of bookings, complaints and quality of service to more than 150,000 parents each year.

You will support the delivery of our courses to new and expectant parents with trust and excellence, whilst providing essential input into maintaining and growing course income so that our charity can thrive and achieve more impact for our parents into the future.  

At the heart of our mission is the 'More Parents, More Impact' pillar of our 'For Every Parent' strategy. As the Customer Experience Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in achieving this vision by driving efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity across the team. You will set and monitor clear, achievable KPIs, ensuring our team remains focused on delivering exceptional results.

About the role

This tole is based in Cumbria. Turning the Spotlight is a busy service supporting families experiencing domestic abuse including perpetrators. You will manage case workers and facilitators in our dedicated healthy relationships programme.

As a Team Leader you will:

• provide leadership, advice and guidance to your team
• monitor the progress & quality of support delivered to service users
• develop your team, addressing any individual development/performance needs, setting both individual & team objectives & undertaking annual appraisals
• provide safeguarding advice & guidance as required
• promote effective communication channels including coordinating & facilitating regular team meetings, sharing feedback & highlighting best practice
• manage external project specific work & relationships as required

You will need:

• Experience of managing & supporting a team; including performance management, one to ones and staff development
• Experience of supporting victims and vulnerable people
• Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection requirements
• To be able to work without direct supervision, prioritising effectively to deal with competing demands
• Good communication, negotiation & advisory skills, both written & verbal when interacting with a range of agencies & individuals
• Experience of delivering behaviour change programmes to perpetrators of domestic abuse & those at risk of becoming perpetrators

Key responsibilities will include:

· Ensure beneficiary contracts are regularly reviewed and updated to align with current legislation and good practice

· Lead on negotiations with the health and social care commissioners by developing a negotiation strategy and providing scrutiny to the contract requirements

· Develop strong working relationships with the contract managers at each of our host local authorities

· Proactively manage the contractual and funding arrangements for new state-funded residents

· Develop appropriate processes and measures for evidencing contract performance

· Support the Head of Care Homes Finance to identify, manage, and mitigate contractual risks

· Develop appropriate contract management registers, plans, and reports
