We are seeking a Head of Supporter Engagement to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Fundraising & Communications to develop and enhance our Public Fundraising Programme, which covers Individual Giving, Lottery, Challenge Events and Legacy income. Having invested in the team’s capacity, we aim to grow income from c. £1m to £1.8m over the next few years. This in the broader context of a total voluntary income target for the charity of £5m-£6m.

The Head of Supporter Engagement leads a team of seven which includes three direct reports: Community Fundraising Manager, Individual Giving Manager and Database Manager. As part of the senior leadership team within the Fundraising & Communications Team, you will contribute to the wider leadership and decision making in the department, acts as a role-model for our values and build strong relationships outside our team, such as with Finance and the Care Team (service delivery).

You will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective supporters of Noah’s Ark. You will ensure our supporters have the best supporter experience possible, to make them feel engaged and motivated, valued and informed about the impact of their donations. You will be responsible for developing implementing strategies for donor acquisition and retention, managing communications with our supporters through various channels. You will have a great degree of freedom to innovate and bring creative flare to our programmes, building your decisions on solid data, donor insight and best practice.

The Role

As Global Head of Finance, you will lead a small, dedicated international team, overseeing strategic financial planning, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across UK and US entities.

Essential experience

The 39th WAGGGS World Conference is a four-day event that will take place in Cambodia in June 2026 in partnership with the host organisation, the Girl Guides Association of Cambodia. This is the main platform for decision-makers in our 153 Member Organisations to gather for networking, learning and consultation on the direction of the Movement. A pre-event for youth attendees under the age of 30 will take place before the conference. 

About the Role:

This role operates within a volunteer-led global charitable organisation with 153 Member Organisations. It provides the inspiration, knowledge and direction to continually protect and enhance WAGGGS’ rich legacy and expand its collective reach and impact. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with staff, volunteers, and attendees from across our Movement - each bringing their own unique perspectives and experiences. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for maintaining the registration site and event website (using the events management software, Cvent) including individual event databases, providing reports as required and ensuring good communication with participants via email. 

2. Provide administrative and logistical support for all aspects of online and in-person Event Management. This includes assisting volunteers and staff with registration and platform issues, and, if appropriate, travel arrangements and accommodation. 

3. Ensure internal and external communications with Member Organisations, participants, staff members and volunteers and event suppliers are timely, relevant and of a high quality.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role is responsible for delivering full housing management services across a portfolio of 50–100 supported accommodation units, with a focus on tenancy sustainment, legal compliance, and strong financial performance. This includes facilitating onboarding and exit processes for service users, promoting tenancy expectations early on, and embedding a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIPE) approach. Accurate and GDPR-compliant tenancy records must be maintained, with regular monitoring and reporting on tenancy issues through internal dashboards and quarterly reviews.

The position also involves driving rent and service charge collection, preventing arrears through proactive engagement, and taking recovery action where needed. The postholder will provide specialist advice on housing benefits, manage claims and appeals, and oversee invoicing and reconciliation with external agencies. Additionally, they will ensure timely repair reporting and resolution, maintain communication with residents and staff on maintenance progress, and uphold property standards to meet compliance requirements.

Salary: Grade 5 Point 39 – 46: £47,264 - £54,728 FTE per annum (£28,358.40 - £32,836.80 per annum, pro rata)

- Additionally, £480 home-based allowance FTE per annum

Location: Home based with travel to various locations in Gloucestershire and surrounds (the post holder is also expected to regularly spend time at our delivery sites within Stroud and the Cotswold’s).

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to provide high-level leadership across Family Action’s services in Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, ensuring the safe, high-quality, and financially sustainable delivery of children, youth, and family services.

You will bring significant experience in managing services for children, young people, and families with complex needs. You will have a strong track record of leading and developing multidisciplinary teams, while driving continuous improvement and service excellence.

As a system leader and convenor, you will build and maintain strategic relationships across local authorities, health, and the voluntary and community sector. You will play a key role in driving Family Hub transformation, promoting innovation, and contributing to the ongoing growth and strategic development of Family Action’s work in the region.

Responsibilities:

Leadership, Performance and Strategic Delivery

· Lead strategic partnerships

· oversee service performance and safeguarding, and drive innovation across Family Hubs and related services.

Line Management

· Manage recruitment, development, and performance of staff, supporting a high-performing and learning-focused culture.

Financial Responsibility

· Oversee budgets, manage financial risks, and contribute to sustainable service development.

Internal/External Relationships

· Represent Family Action externally and build strong partnerships to support integrated service delivery.

Quality Assurance

· Ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant services through effective monitoring and continuous improvement.

Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):

· Proven experience leading services for children, young people, and families with complex needs.

· Strong track record in stakeholder engagement and cross-sector partnership working.

· Ability to manage teams, budgets, and service performance to a high standard.

· Knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory frameworks, and quality assurance processes.

· Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with an understanding of structural disadvantage.

· Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service – Enhanced
