Fundraiser – The Role:

In this part-time role (22.5 hrs p/w) you will be responsible for all aspects of fund raising for The Middle Temple and for the associated activity. You will generate the strategy, annual fundraising plan and then enact activity to achieve the objectives set in the plan.

We’d love to hear from you if you are an experienced fundraising practitioner who has built strategies and plans with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Fundraiser – Key Responsibilities:

- To write the Middle Temple fundraising strategy and annual plan. Then, to enact the plan to achieve fundraising objectives

- To organise and run the annual calendar of fundraising activities, including appeals

- To manage the oversight of the Trustees of the Middle Temple charity and fund through regular meetings of these groups

- To manage, and keep updated, the fundraising databases and information sources required to enable the Inn’s fundraising

- Identify, cultivate and then apply to various funding sources, both internally and externally including grants and trusts

- Write funding applications where appropriate, monitor and track donations and keep financial records up to date

Fundraiser – You:

- An experienced fundraising practitioner used to both creating strategies and plans as well as operating as a ‘hands on’ operator

- Experience of a similar working environment and/or understanding of the workings of other not-for-profit organisations

- Strong administrative experience, ideally in a fundraising role, dealing with the legal and administrative requirements of fundraising including the relationship management of donors

- Experience in managing the requirements of a charity including accounting, reporting and attending meetings of the Charity’s Trustees

- IT literate with experience of using databases (Salesforce and CiviCRM), Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

- Excellent communications skills (verbally and in writing) at all levels

For Europe's largest infrastructure project, we are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to drive accountability and focus on cost control for the Corporate Services Directorate. This is a key role measuring and reporting on financial performance and promoting effective decision-making of direct and indirect costs. Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering and providing oversight, control and direction to a team of up to 4 Finance Business Partners, this role is key in ensuring the financial targets and value for money are met.

Main Duties:

• Manage, and develop the Finance Business Partner team to embed and drive a cost control and productivity focused culture across the directorate
• Lead the business case development process - reviewing and challenging funding requests to ensure they represent value for money

About the role

We are seeking a Substance Misuse Worker who has a specialism in mental health and substance use to join our team in Catford. You will be based within a 24 hour service which provides enhanced rehabilitation support to adults who have been diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health, who would benefit from an intensive rehabilitation and recovery-focused approach. Within this role, you will provide specialist knowledge and experience to support the wider team and residents to help them to overcome their personal barriers.

You will deliver evidence-based interventions based on holistic assessments to support personalised recovery, integration, and promotion of independent living skills. You will be a specialist in comorbidity, supporting the team to achieve positive outcomes for our residents. Some of your duties will include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About you

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. Qualifications are desirable if paired with practical experience which is relevant to this role. We look at individual characteristics with the ability to engage with various people who may not want to receive the support, able to build trusting professional relationships, and able to demonstrate resilience, solve challenges, and be proactive. We are looking for an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) to join our friendly team of ISVAs at RASASC Guildford. This is a full time position - 5 days/week (35 hours), but we would consider 4 days/week (28 hours) for the right person.

RASASC Guildford is a registered charity which has been providing support to survivors of rape and sexual abuse of all genders (both recent and non-recent) and young people aged over 13, from across Surrey since 1992.

We provide an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Service. ISVAs support survivors to help them overcome the abuse they have suffered and to rebuild their lives. This service also includes supporting the survivor to seek justice through the judicial system, should the survivor wish.

We also provide one-to-one counselling, group work, youth counselling, a support line, and a family support programme.

Volunteers are an important part of the work we do. Volunteers staff our support line  and many of our qualified counsellors work on a voluntary basis with survivors of rape and sexual abuse.

ISVA

ISVAs are survivor-focused advocates, who support survivors of recent and non-recent rape and sexual abuse to enable them to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse they have experienced. An ISVA provides individual support and this will vary from client to client.  

This role is based at the RASASC Guildford office and will work across Surrey. The ISVA must have a full driving licence and use of a car that can be used for work purposes.

You will be part of a dedicated, experienced, and friendly team. The ISVAs meet fortnightly for peer support and work collaboratively with each other to share knowledge. Each ISVA has a lead area of responsibility in addition to your caseload supporting a range of clients.

You will be provided with monthly clinical supervision and attend monthly one-to-one meetings with the ISVA team leader.

We welcome applications from all candidates but are particularly looking for those who can demonstrate the experience listed in the essential criteria of the person specification, and especially from those who can evidence the desirable skills and/or have an existing ISVA qualification.

Job Description

• To support survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
• It is the responsibility of the ISVA to impartially advise the client on all options open to them, such as the Criminal Justice System, SARC, sexual health clinic and other local services.
• The ISVAs are expected to balance a caseload that includes survivors progressing through the criminal justice process as well as survivors that have decided not to report, or who are no longer in the criminal justice process.
• The ISVA will be based at Guildford RASASC but will be expected to travel throughout Surrey.
• The ISVA is expected to carry out other duties from time to time which are broadly consistent with those in this document, as the job description cannot cover every issue which may arise within the post. 

Key Tasks

· The ISVA will provide a survivor-focused, independent service, distinct from the role of a crisis worker or counsellor.

· Undertake risk assessment and support needs analysis with survivor and develop a support plan for the survivor.

· To provide advice and support across a wide range of issues, such as housing, health and education, that will help to support the survivor and ensure their ongoing safety in the aftermath of the abuse.

· Manage caseload and maintain necessary case files and records including monitoring information as required under funding conditions and by RASASC.

· To provide expert advice and support in relation to issues and the impact of rape and sexual abuse on this client group to other members of the ISVA team as well as the wider RASASC team. 

· The ISVA will be required to undertake accredited training specifically designed to support them in delivering this service. This training is currently delivered virtually but subject to change, possibly face to face in Rugby or Manchester over six modules. Each module is taught over two consecutive days to minimise the amount of time ISVAs are away.

· Fulfil relevant monitoring processes as requested by the ISVA Team Leader or the Fundraising Manager.

· to attend monthly one to one supervision with team leader and monthly clinical supervision

The Head of Service Delivery will be responsible for overseeing the strategic alignment, development, and execution of all service functions. They will oversee the day to day delivery across our services, and ensure operational excellence, compliance and financial accuracy in all delivery systems. They will co-lead and support the Delivery Team, matrix-style with Head of Community and Impact, ensuring we build strong, trauma informed relationships with our clients and funders. In addition, this role will be driving improvements in our systems and processes, acting as a bridge between the complex financial and regulatory environments we work in and the practical values driven changemakers on the ground. As a key member of the leadership team, this role also contributes to the development of the organisation, while also modelling our values of collaboration, curiosity, creativity and courage .

Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations, which open new funding channels to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. Our network comprises 20 members based all over the world and is growing. 

We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in early 2022 and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then.

As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable Salesforce Administrator to support us to ensure our system is well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. We’re looking for someone who can not only ensure that the existing system works well, is well managed and who can help us generate high-quality reports from the system to help us to raise more funding to support grassroots conservation work.

The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team in the UK and around the world, it is a critical role that is central to the success of our global network, and there is lots of scope for an ambitious candidate to grow in responsibility with it. 

Key Responsibilities 

Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, administration, prioritisation and training  

Maintenance, user management, support and development 

• Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, managing user access, profiles, roles, and security settings. 

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any operational or functional problem.

• Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).  

• Ensure automatic back-ups are working and up to date and an understanding of how to restore back-ups if needed, protecting our organisational data. 

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations and process. 

• Managing Data Import Templates to upload ad-hoc batch data into Opportunities, using Data Loader or any other data import and data quality tools.  

• Oversee data governance log: maintaining log of changes to review with the team, discussing effect on budget and system usage to feed into prioritisation of new features and functionality, support the communication of any platform changes to end users 

• Manage onboarding and offboarding users both with Salesforce and Microsoft platforms.   

• Oversee smooth onboarding and training process for new members and refresher training where appropriate to ensure effective adoption and system use.  

• Respond to individual questions from users via tickets, on Slack and share tips and tricks regularly via Slack Channel updates to review any Salesforce learnings, any features from latest Salesforce release, any security updates, any best practices.  

• Work with our external Salesforce consultants on any requests of flow maintenance or improvements and monitoring effective use of credits and budgets.  

Form Assembly Management 

• Manage the integration of Form Assembly with Salesforce ensuring all connectors work well and troubleshoot and update connections where needed.  

• Support users with the building/maintenance of individual Grant Application forms, updating when needed (ad hoc) and embedding them in their websites. 

• Future scope any gaps in the Grant Application process, improve data management using validation, document and improve on existing processes.

Dashboard and Reporting Management  

• Support us to produce effective and easy to understand reports from the system:

• Opportunities - pipeline and income reports

• Grants - tracker and applications analysis,

• Impact – dashboards and project reports

• Best Practice Metrics – support and create best practice reports 

• Provide quarterly analysis of user activity in the system, identifying and addressing trends or issues that arise from this 

• Support the senior management team to prepare quarterly data and reports for trustee meeting and annual reports. 

Overseeing our IT systems with the support of outsourced consultants 

As well as the Salesforce administration, the candidate we’re looking for will also be able to: 

• Be a key point of contact with our outsourced IT company, overseeing the creation of new users and managing the leavers’ processes on the MS 365 environment 

• Support CC team to maintain and ensure Sharepoint intranet is working smoothly and is up to date, user management of licenses and active users, their security settings, distribution lists.

Support the Data Protection Officer in data protection matters. 

The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate: 

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, who holds Salesforce Administrator certification. 

• Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Experience.  

• Solid understanding of Salesforce security models, including roles, profiles, and permission sets. 

• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written. This is vital in supporting colleagues with less technical experience. 

• Understanding of a Microsoft 365 environment 

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues 

• Self-motivation, detail-orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and escalate where needed. 

• Ability to work independently/remotely.

• Experience in not-for-profit sector 

Ideally, they’ll also be: 

• Passionate about nature and the environment. 

• Comfortable with using Slack and Canva environments. 

• Being able to speak other languages, Spanish, Greek or Italian would be a bonus!

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the charity sector. In this role, you will:

• Provide frontline support by answering our helpline, emails, and letters (with full training and supervision).
• Maintain contact with volunteers, supporters, and beneficiaries.
• Learn to use our internal database and support profile-raising activities.
• Help with communication to health professionals (midwives, health visitors, etc.).
• Occasionally liaise with journalists to provide general information.

Our Women’s Respite is a vital service that provides safety, stability, and support for women with complex needs – from those escaping domestic abuse to those facing homelessness, mental health challenges, substance use, and trauma. 

As a Specialist Complex Needs Worker, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of women who have experienced violence against women and girls (VAWG). Working within our accommodation service, you will support clients facing multiple disadvantage, ranging from complex needs to medium and lower levels of support, always tailoring your approach to each individual. This is a role where gender-informed and trauma-informed practice is at the heart of everything you do, ensuring that each client is met with understanding, dignity and a pathway towards safety and stability. You will work closely with external partners and attend multi-agency forums such as MARAC, helping to reduce harm, open up opportunities and ensure every woman feels safe enough to take their next step forward.

Your days will be as varied as they are impactful, one moment you may be facilitating a conversation to encourage engagement in training or education, the next you could be connecting someone with specialist mental health or substance use services, arranging access to primary healthcare or building confidence through meaningful activities within the hostel. We are seeking to appoint a part-time experienced and capable administrator with the skills and attributes necessary to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the Staines & Feltham Circuit.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team with Circuit staff and leadership to support the work of the seven churches in the Circuit and be part of the team praying for the mission and ministry of the Circuit.

This is a mainly office based role working at the Circuit office at Woodthorpe Methodist Church, Ashford, Middlesex.  This post is for 16 hours per week to be worked flexibly by mutual agreement with the Superintendent Minister.
