About you
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our friendly events team at the British Ecological Society (BES). You’ll need at least one year’s demonstrable experience in delivering high-profile mid-sized events and conferences. You will need a high-level of organisation and reliability as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience of using a CRM and a hybrid event platform. We need a clear and concise communicator who can build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders and diverse audiences.
You will assist the BES in the organisation and delivery of our events programme, including our flagship scientific conference, the BES Annual Meeting, which sees 1,200 ecologists gather from around the world and share the latest research.
About the role
Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Officer will:
- In collaboration with the Events Manager, oversee the delivery of allocated parts of the Society’s Annual Meeting, Symposia, and other events.
- Use digital platforms to support event management and delegate experience -including the website, CRM system, conference abstract management system, Eventbrite, Canva, hybrid conference platforms, Excel, Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Co-ordinate aspects of event planning including venue search, supplier liaison, catering and accommodation.
- Act as the main point of contact for exhibitors and sponsors, post-sales.
- Maintain and update the programme information on the hybrid event platform for the Annual Meeting.
- Ensure that any agreed branding from sponsors is delivered.
- Provide on-site support at events and go on site visits.
- Develop innovative and creative social media content and digital promotion for the Society’s events.
- Evaluate and monitor success of events portfolio, providing and implementing recommendations where appropriate.
- Evaluate and monitor EDI representation at BES events.

- Working closely with other teams to ensure public affairs activity is timely, consistent and, where appropriate, joined up with other external communications.
- Maintain a database of up to date policy positions, developed in partnership with the Policy and Research teams and frontline staff, and support with the development of policy positions.
- You will help design and implement robust and thorough public affairs plans, coordinate a programme of visits and meetings with key stakeholders across Westminster and Whitehall and proactively spot new engagement opportunities will be crucial to this role.

Purpose of the Post
London's Violence Reduction Unit (VRU) has joined forces with Redthread and Catch22 to support young Londoners aged 16-30 to gain skills, qualifications, and employment in the digital and surrounding sectors.
The youth Mentor will be working within local communities to support programme users to progress into apprenticeships, employment, education, and training opportunities.
In this role we are looking for a Youth Mentor to provide tailored career guidance and occasionally deliver facilitated employability workshops to those enrolled on the programme. We want someone who is ready to champion the rights and needs of those facing barriers to work, and is committed to delivering the best they can, for the people on the programme

The Pepper Pot Centre is a vital, Caribbean & other BME community resource for the over 60s in Kensington & Chelsea and neighbouring Boroughs, seeking to combat discrimination, isolation, depression and loneliness and help our members to take charge of their lives and live in a healthy and independent manner.
Having formally opened our doors in 1981, we are a meeting place for older and retired members of the community and a day centre that provides a balanced Caribbean meal, recreational and cultural activities and lots more. In 1976 & 2006 was visited by the late Queen and by the Duchess of Cornwall in2020.
We are now seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to join our team for a one-year, fixed term contract, working 21 hours per week.
About the role

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team. This position is based in the Clinical Quality department and is responsible to the NMPA Audit Lead. You will be responsible in supporting the seamless execution of audit activities including efficiently coordinating clinical audit reports, sprint audits, governance meetings, website management, and data governance requirements
By contributing to the development of audit support for quality improvement and engaging stakeholders, including women and families, the Project Coordinator plays an important role in strengthening the audit's impact on national maternity services.

About you
This position is well-suited to an organised and capable person who is looking to contribute to the improvement of maternity services, gaining project management experience in the healthcare environment.
Requirements:
- Confident in working with senior health care professionals in a variety of settings
- Proven ability to provide efficient administrative support in a professional environment, including managing data, documents and correspondence with accuracy and discretion
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Effective IT skills and confident working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Competent minute-taking and drafting skills

About the role
We’re looking for a Medical Content Editor who is confident in writing, editing and producing medical content and who’ll ensure accuracy of our medical content to meet the needs of our health and care professional audience.
You’ll work with multiple teams as well as health and care professional experts to develop and update digital and print resources, including our virtual learning hub course content.
What you’ll do:

Are you a talented writer who would like to use their skills across a range of campaigns and projects to help raise vital funds for St Mungo’s?
We are looking for a talented writer to join the team in a role where you will source and write a range of fundraising materials for the Public Engagement team to inspire the public to support St Mungo’s and reaffirm for supporters that their contribution is making a vital difference to people who are experiencing homelessness.
In this role you will have the opportunity to take ownership of copy for the team, ensuring that powerful writing and compelling stories drive the success of our fundraising across a range of channels and audiences, in both long copy and short.
- You will create copy for supporter newsletters, supporter appeals, emails, inserts and other projects as they arise.
- Client stories are crucial for our communication, you will be an enthusiastic networker within the organisation to source these stories and use your engaging interview skills to gather the stories we need in a sensitive way.
- You will join a motivated and passionate fundraising team. With your help, we will be able to provide essential fundraised income to end homelessness and rebuild lives.
Whilst our main office is currently in Tower Hill, London, we are flexible and encourage a blended working pattern including working from home and across other London or St Mungo’s hub locations. More details will be provided at interview stage.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience of writing varied communications for an organisation to generate financial and other actions. We encourage you to apply if you can demonstrate the below:
