ROLE: Digital Content Manager 

Salary: £42,000 per annum 

Contract: Full-time 

Location: Central London (hybrid working – minimum two days per week in the office).

ROLE OVRVIEW 

We’re looking for a creative and strategic thinking individual with strong writing skills to lead the development and delivery of compelling digital content that aligns our key messages to key audiences. You’ll play a vital role in increasing our visibility, strengthening our voice, and positioning Fields in Trust as the go-to organisation for commentary, advice, and support on parks and green spaces. 

You’ll join a passionate, mission-driven team working to protect the green spaces that matter to us all. This is a unique opportunity to shape how we tell our story - informing, inspiring and motivating others to take action. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop and implement a digital content plan aligned with organisational strategy and goals, collaborating with media partners and creative agencies as needed. 

• Ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels and audience segments. 

• Create engaging, high-quality content (written, visual, and video) for our website, social media, and email newsletters. 

• Design and implement standardised templates for external communications (e.g. partner presentations) to ensure consistent brand tone and messaging across teams.

• Manage the content calendar and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and relevant content delivery. 

• Tailor digital content (and occasional offline materials such as a publications, annual reviews, and display panels) to resonate with key audiences including national and local government, the built environment sector, funders, partners and park users. 

• Use storytelling to highlight the value of parks and green spaces and the impact of our work. 

• Manage and optimise our website and social media presence. 

• Monitor content performance and engagement, using analytics to guide content strategy and improvements. 

• Uphold and evolve our brand voice and visual identity across digital content and assets. 

• Act as a guardian for tone, language, and messaging consistency. 

• Work cross-organizationally to develop high quality content and outputs we can use to influence and engage key audiences. 

• Support colleagues with digital content, best practice and training where needed. 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Demonstrable experience in digital content creation and planning. 

• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. 

• Strong understanding of digital platforms, SEO, and analytics. 

• Ability to align content with strategic messaging and audience needs. 

• Creative mindset with a passion for social or environmental causes. 

• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytic, Dot Digital, Resource Space, Hootsuite 

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Experience working in the charity or not-for-profit sector.

To provide information, advice, support and advocacy to the women living within our refuge. You will be responsible for providing women with continuous one-to-one support, practical advice and advocacy and ensuring that the women receive comprehensive support that addresses their physical and mental health, social care, housing, immigration and benefit-related needs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide  a  professional  high-­quality  VAWG  advocacy  and  outreach  service.

2. Undertake  casework  and  advocacy  (this  will  include  liaising  with  relevant  professionals  and  agencies  such  as  solicitors,  social  workers,  police  officers  etc.) 

3. Provide  practical  support  such  as  accompanying  women  to  appointments  and  courts,  making  reports  to  such  agencies  or  collecting  belongings  and  otherwise  taking  all  necessary  steps  to  ensure  the  general  safety  and  wellbeing  of  women  and  children. 

4. Write  assessment  reports  and  support  letters,  and  under  supervision,  help  to  collect  evidence  and  statements,  as  well  as  undertake  some  basic  legal  representation.

5. Undertake risk assessments for referral to the Multi-­Agency Risk Assessment Conferences  (MARACs) 

6. Establish  links  with  key  partners  [local  authority,  police,  health,  schools,  etc.]  to  ensure  effective  referral  routes  and  information  sharing  protocols.

7. Assist  in  developing  and  meeting  quality  standards  in  relation  to  advice  and  casework.  This  includes  administration  and  IT  systems  for  advice  and  casework. 

8. Cover the helpline as required.

9. Assist migrant women to access immigration advice, and assist in meeting their housing needs.

10. To  undertake  campaigning  and  policy  work  arising  from  the  advice  and  casework  (this  may  involve  some  weekend/evening  work)

11. Where  necessary  to  assist  staff  in  organising  and  running  support  group  activities  and  consultations  for  women  who  are  isolated  and  vulnerable  due  to  their  experiences  of  violence  and  abuse.

12. To  publicise  and  provide  S4S  services,  and  attend,  contribute  and  represent  the  organisation  at  relevant  local  meetings  or  initiatives. 

13. To  support and mentor the Women’s Council.

14. Follow  S4S policies  and  procedures,  and  maintain  IT  and  case  file  management  systems.

15. Contribute  to  S4S  record  keeping  and  provide  information  for  monitoring,  evaluation,  policy,  and  research  and  training  purposes. 

16. Ensure  women  are  referred  to  S4S  projects  and  activities  as  required  for  example,  counselling or group work.

17. Support women residing in the refuge as required.

18. Be  self-­servicing  and  to  assist  other  workers  when  required. 

19. Undertake  any  additional  duties  which  will  contribute  to  the  smooth  running  of  the  S4S services  and  projects.

FLEXIBILITY CLAUSE

In order to deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is required, and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties, however, will fall within the scope of the job at the appropriate grade.

Purpose of the Role

To lead and manage support staff, working with service users in their homes. Be aware of and work to trauma informed principles and manage the service as a psychologically informed environment. Ensure staff to work to psychologically informed principles and help service users to develop aspirations for their future. This will include developing goals for employment training and education. To assist support staff to achieve tangible progress outcomes for their support clients. Outcomes that are in line with Causeway’s mission and with LB Haringey’s contractual requirements. Work with the CEO to review and develop policies, including for specialist training and support as necessary. Support the CEO to develop and implement an organisational client mental health strategy, for all support services. Ensure staff understand the purpose of the service and their role in delivering outcomes. Ensure continuous learning and development across the team by embedding learning from training and service reviews. Work closely with Causeway’s internal Housing Team to ensure residents are complying with the terms of their tenancy or licence agreements. Lead on client involvement within the service. To represent CIHA at external events and meetings when necessary.

Our Organisation

You will work a combination of office, client-home, community, and home-based working. Causeway is a 4-day week employer, so you will work 32 hours over 4 days a week. Causeway is a London living wage employer. You will receive a 6% pension contribution, rising to 12% after two years service. The holder of this post will manage, control and administer all financial matters for the organisation, maintaining all financial records as required in compliance with regulatory and best practice procedures and long term plans. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Preparation of year-end accounts up to and including provisional balance sheet.
• Preparation of monthly accounts, cash flow forecast and fund reports for trustees, senior management team and project managers.

• Professional qualification in finance/accounting (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, or equivalent).

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our regional team as a Regional Manager for Peninsula, Severn and Wessex regions. World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

We are recruiting a Cantonese speaking Team Manager to join the STEP team delivering this new programme. You will oversee a team of Employment Advisors who provide remote support to participants, assisting them in accessing job opportunities, education and training.  

You will be responsible for providing effective leadership, guidance and support to the Employment Advisors, monitoring and managing their workflow and providing coaching and mentoring to enhance their performance. Your responsibilities will also include quality assurance of STEP programme delivery, monitoring and reporting programme outcomes and compiling and analysing data on the effectiveness of the team’s interventions and activities.

• Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, preferably within a refugee support or employment-related context.
