Job Purpose

Working closely with the Chair of the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive will:

The Role

As our Evidence and Impact Manager, you will lead the development and continual improvement of our Outcomes Framework, helping us evidence progress towards our vision of ‘Transformation through Forests’.

Working to deliver our vision for nature, communities and enterprise, you’ll establish meaningful metrics, effective data collection, evaluation and reporting processes.

Managing a small team, you will oversee the generation and delivery of robust evidence and insight, translating complex information for a range of audiences to inform decision-making, support programme development, and inform external messaging for communications and advocacy work.

Additionally, you will:

- Oversee reporting for the Defra England Tree Planting Programme
- Line manage a Grants Officer who administers £2m of grants for forest creation and woodland management

Some evening and weekend work may be required, for which time off in lieu will apply, and you may also need to travel to sites across rural locations.

About You

To be considered as our Evidence and Impact Manager, you will need:

- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience of leading corporate performance monitoring and reporting within the environmental field
- Proven experience of using GIS for dataset analysis and the presentation of spatial information
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research and information presentation techniques
- An understanding of the benefits of tree planting and habitat creation for nature, communities and enterprise
- A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification

The Team

• Experience delivering single- or multi-country projects funded by institutional donors such as USAID, FCDO, the Dutch Government or major foundations

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead APF's communications, marketing and engagement function. You will turn organisational priorities into an integrated plan, set clear standards and measures, advise senior leaders and ensure that marketing, media, content, digital and internal communications work together.

You will lead three managers: the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, the Press, PR and Stories Manager, and the Communications Operations and Engagement Manager. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will report to the Senior Marketing and Communications Manager. This structure gives you the scope to shape the whole function while delegating specialist delivery clearly.

Your early work will include establishing the team operating model and annual plan, moving PF Together to quarterly publication, strengthening email marketing, leading a complete website content rewrite, creating clearer supporter journeys and building a proactive media and story pipeline. We are seeking a proactive, forward-thinking, part-qualified or qualified accountant to lead the development of an efficient, AI-assisted finance function for the charity. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be part of Home-Start Southwark and Lewisham's senior leadership team, in the only finance-focussed role within the team, taking ownership of the organisation's financial systems, reporting, and compliance — and critically, you will have the opportunity to strategically shape how finance operates over the next 6–12 months.

This is a growth opportunity for someone who has an interest and belief in our work supporting local families and combines strong technical finance skills with curiosity about technology, a willingness to challenge existing ways of working, and the confidence to work at Board level. Broxtowe Youth Homelessness (BYH) is a small, well-established charity supporting young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Great marketing connects organisational priorities with the people we need to reach. This 9-month maternity-cover role will lead integrated campaigns and high-quality content that build awareness, strengthen trust and support the impact of Southern Hospice Group across our communities.

You will take ownership of campaign planning and delivery across digital, print, events and media, translating priorities from Fundraising, Retail, Clinical Services, the People Team and Corporate Partnerships into audience-led marketing activity. You will balance planned campaigns with emerging organisational needs, making clear choices about where time and resource will have the greatest impact.

Alongside campaign leadership, you will help shape editorial and content planning, developing compelling, accessible content that communicates our impact and supports engagement. You will work closely with Brand, Digital and Creative colleagues to ensure campaigns are joined up, consistent and effective across channels.

You will be a trusted marketing partner to senior and operational stakeholders, using insight and performance data to improve activity and provide clear recommendations. You will also provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and direction to Marketing and Communications Officers and apprentices.

This is a fixed-term role where pace matters. Success will mean quickly building strong relationships, maintaining continuity through maternity cover and delivering measurable campaigns without losing quality, brand discipline or audience focus.

• Significant experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns from planning through to evaluation.

The Business Analyst position will see you play a key role in helping our organisation understand, shape and deliver effective change across people, process, data and technology. Working within the Business Analysis Practice, you will ensure that change initiatives are grounded in clear requirements, robust analysis and a deep understanding of user needs.

You will work closely with colleagues across Technology and the wider organisation to analyse issues, explore opportunities, and translate business needs into actionable insights and documentation. Your work will contribute directly to the delivery of high-quality solutions by producing user stories, process maps, functional and non-functional requirements, and supporting delivery teams through the full change lifecycle.

You will have significant experience working as a Business Analyst within complex organisations, delivering change across people process, data and technology. You will have demonstrable experience of requirement analysis, user story development and process mapping. You will be a strong communicator, able to engage with stakeholders and to translate ambiguity into clear, actionable insights.

You will be contracted to your home address, and you will perform most of your work remotely there, with occasional travel (incl. for monthly team meetings).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support staff through objectives, reviews, training and wellbeing conversations
