Working under the guidance of the existing Peer Programme Manager and as a crucial team member in this area, the successful applicant will be integral to the continuation and development of the project, recruiting and coordinating peers specifically across the North of this Operational Delivery Network. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings and ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.
This post will require extensive travel across the region, and it is essential for the post holder to hold a driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

The Community Development & Health Programme Manager is responsible for the ongoing strategic development of the programme area, as well as maintaining oversight of the contracted delivery across its broad but integrated remit. This work is achieved through the coordination and development of appropriate partnerships, and initiating and delivering activities and services through community development approaches which are community-rooted and build stronger, healthier and inclusive communities.
With responsibility for bid writing in support of SCDA’s charitably funded activities and services, and collaboration on larger tenders for SCDA community initiatives & services, the post holder will ensure quality of provision and that those projects run to agreed budgets and schedules.

How are staff supported to work remotely?

Key Responsibilities
As Concierge Lead, you will manage relationships with up to 150 members and help them to:

- Navigate the health and social care system with confidence

Your daily role can include:
- Developing deep member insights by conducting member ‘discoveries’ to learn life stories, hobbies, health and communication needs and understand what they want more
- Listening to members’ needs, providing emotional support and helping members build resilience.
- Facilitating and hosting monthly Transition Circles which are peer group sessions for carers experiencing similar situations
- Leading on member wellbeing at Good Company Clubs.
- Through gathering insights help develop and share actionable advice and practical tips through our website and the Good Company Hub
- Working with, training, and supporting a team of Concierge volunteers to provide support, information, and good company at the Good Company Hub on the high street
- Building partnerships with local organisations —social, sports, and voluntary—to introduce members to meaningful opportunities

Overview and key points on the role
As the Manager of our Training & Prevention team you will lead and grow our Training & Prevention offer.

As our creative and innovative Legacy & In Memory Marketing Officer, you will deliver a range of compelling communications to increase consideration for legacy giving and implement personalised stewardship journeys for our legacy and in memory supporters, as well as delivering engaging thank you events.
In this role, you will plan, manage and execute print, email and digital campaigns across the marketing funnel, as well as deliver exceptional stewardship, through personal communications and events, to our committed supporters.
You’ll also:
- Prepare and agree campaign strategies using data, analysis and insight that meet specific objectives within the LIM Team plans
- Undertake Project Management responsibilities required for the successful and timely delivery of campaigns
- Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure the effective and timely delivery of campaigns
- Manage a legacy and high value supporter event programme
- Operate a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns
Requirements
You’ll be passionate about using your experience in fundraising and marketing to make a difference by creating inspiring and supporter-led communications that effectively raises consideration for legacy giving and uncovers new prospects and pledgers. You will steward our existing legacy and in memory supporters through engaging supporter journeys and events.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a direct marketing or supporter engagement role
- Proven experience in delivering and/or supporting on events
- Experience of developing and implementing supporter journeys across multiple channels
