The Finance Manager is responsible to the Executive Director and responsible for:

1. Ensure Financial Sustainability—Develop and implement financial strategies that support the organization's long-term sustainability, aligning budgets with the charity's mission and strategic goals.
2. Strengthen Financial Governance and Compliance - Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, charity law, and donor requirements, including timely preparation of statutory accounts and audit processes.

7. Promote Financial Literacy and Capacity building - Build financial awareness and capacity across the organization by training non-financial staff and ensuring budget holders understand and manage their financial responsibilities effectively.
8. Risk Management and Contingency Planning - Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies, including establishing reserves and contingency plans for economic uncertainties or funding shortfalls.

1.Duties and key responsibilities

Donor Stewardship and Reporting 

•Research, manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of donors informing, educating, and inspiring them about MAP’s work, and asking them for donations either directly in application or facilitating asks by peers. 

•Create a personal plan for each ‘qualified’ donor, taking into account the individual donor’s interest, motivations, giving patterns, any information they need to support our work. Execute that plan on a timely basis plan so that individuals are retained and upgraded. 

•Work with colleagues to secure appropriate project information, including budgets, to create effective offers, proposals and cases for support.

•Create reports that accurately reflect activity and performance for donors who have supported specific projects, to show the impact of their gift

•Ensure that all major givers in your portfolio are provided with the highest level of stewardship and take overall responsibility for your own contacts and annual workplan.

•Ensure the upkeep of a database and filing system on all existing and prospective donors.

•Provide regular reports to the Philanthropy Manager and Head of Philanthropy. 

•Develop relationships with Trustees, Patrons and other ambassadors/high net worth volunteer fundraisers of MAP, where appropriate. 

Events

•Ensure that appropriate donors/prospects/influencers are invited to cultivation and fundraising events and to attend these events in the UK.

Heading up Beat’s major donor fundraising, the Philanthropy Manager will drive vital income growth for the charity. They will nurture and uplift existing major donor relationships while identifying and securing the support of new major donors. 1. Assist with the design and development of the UPM system calculations

The Role

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the CEO/Director will be responsible for the overall strategic, financial, and operational leadership of Chelsea Theatre. This is a hands-on role with a focus on balancing the day-to-day running of the operational activities of the venue, with essential components such as stakeholder management, community engagement and income generation.

Our hybrid working model:
