About This Job

As Fundraising Assistant at sister charities, ACCT UK and CCFA, you will play a key role in the growth of existing fundraising and in the creation of new income streams. Stewarding fundraisers, helping to develop new and existing fundraising campaigns, building relationships internally within the cadet organisations and externally with Trusts and Foundations, corporates and major givers. You will provide administrative and operational support, including maintaining the fundraising database. Purpose of the role

Location: You can be based near one of the following office locations - Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester or Newcastle. 

We operate a hybrid model of work i.e. a combination of in-person and remote, with flexible days in the office depending on business need and your preferences. We would typically expect in-office attendance an average of one day per week.

The Candidate
A creative, hands on fundraiser, happy to lead the startegic and donor facing aspects of high value fundirasing.

A demonstrable track record of securing significant gifts from a range of trusts and foundations.
An ability to write and submit a regular stream of applications.
Experience of researching and writing high-quality, well-structured and persuasive communication materials, and delivering convincing verbal presentations to a variety of stakeholders.
Experience in working with major donors/high net worth individuals, ideally of setting up an income stream to support high net worth giving.
An understanding of funders needs, and how to meet these needs through thorough and relevant research, and creating compelling applications for support.

Salary: £25,197 (plus an additional £3,000 for London weighting if residing in London)

About the Role

The Fundraising Coordinator will play an important role within the Partnerships department, working across the fundraising and communications functions to support the team to deliver our multi-year fundraising strategy and enable significant organisational growth.

This role will report to the Head of Fundraising and support the fundraising team working across the following income streams: corporate partners, trusts and foundations, university partnerships, major donors and individual giving. In addition, this role will support our communications team with their messaging to our internal and external stakeholders. 

A key focus will be supporting the development and delivery of our Individual Giving programme, helping to grow our base of individual supporters through engaging campaigns, communications, and excellent supporter care.

You will have:

· Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, compelling donor materials, newsletters, and other external communications.

· A collaborative team player who can build positive working relationships and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment

About the Role

The Senior Fundraising Coordinator will play an important role within the Partnerships department, working together with the Director of Partnerships, Head of Fundraising, and the Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver our multi-year fundraising strategy and enable significant organisational growth.

This role will report to the Corporate Partnerships Manager and focus on a portfolio of Corporate Partners, within an agile team with multiple streams of work. You will also have opportunities to contribute to trusts and foundations, major donors and individual giving as part of a joined-up fundraising approach.

· Experience supporting or securing 5 and 6-figure grants, ideally from corporate partners.

· Strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, persuasive proposals and impact reports. 

· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver compelling pitches. 

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders.

· Highly organised, with experience of managing multiple deadlines.

· Knowledge of the UK fundraising environment.
