Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from companies, trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.

· Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective partners from across companies, trusts and foundations.

Main Responsibilities

StandOut is a growing charity, entirely funded by charitable donations. As Fundraising Officer (Trusts) you will be working alongside the Fundraising and Development Manager to ensure we have the necessary funding needed to navigate the next stage of our development, consisting of an ambitious strategy and plan for growth over the next two years.

Role outline and purpose
The Trussell Trust are seeking a Philanthropy Executive - Trusts to join our high-performing Trusts team. The role supports the Trussell Trust by raising money from charitable trusts, focusing specifically on Tier 3 trusts (giving up to c.£10,000). You will coordinate a programme of regular stewardship communications to our current givers, fundraise from new prospects through mailings and occasional applications, provide administrative support to the wider team, and ensure that records of communications are kept up to date.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate and send mass mailings to Tier 3 charitable trusts, thanking supporters and requesting further support where appropriate
• Develop compelling, persuasive and up-to-date bulk communications to encourage Tier 3 trusts to give regularly, and keep them informed of the Trussell Trust’s achievements and future plans, coordinating with other fundraising teams where appropriate

Reporting to the Grants Manager, the main objective of the Grants Officer is to secure income for the Wildlife Trust by initiating, managing and developing a portfolio of bids and applications to a variety of funders. Responsibilities will include:

Horatio’s Garden is a growing, award winning, national charity improving the lives of people with spinal injuries by creating and nurturing outstanding garden projects in NHS spinal injury centres.

Trusts & Foundations is our largest income stream and we are looking to increase capacity in the team during a growth period for the charity.You will support our experienced Trusts & Foundations team to help meet, and exceed, our income targets and to provide fantastic support to our donors.You will also have the opportunity to spend half a day a week in our Salisbury garden assisting the Head Gardener and spending time with beneficiaries.

Reporting directly to the Head of Programmes & Funding, you will play a pivotal role in planning, developing, and submitting trust proposals aligned with our organisational strategy and values. You'll build lasting relationships with trusts and foundations through effective communication, ensuring our funding needs are clearly communicated. Additionally, you'll support learning, monitoring, and evaluation activities across all our overseas programmes, translating impactful data into valuable insights for our wider fundraising and communications team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and research funding opportunities, managing a pipeline of trust and foundation opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with the Programmes team and project delivery partners to develop compelling project proposals.

• Manage grant applications from submission to decision and provide appropriate reporting, ensuring high standards and alignment with our brand identity.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of each application, driving continuous improvement in trust fundraising efforts.

• Steward the donor portfolio effectively, maintaining strong relationships.

• Contribute to resources supporting various fundraising efforts, such as cases for support and budgets.

• Gather and analyse monitoring and evaluation data to report Frank Water's impact.

What We're Looking For:

An enthusiastic team player with a track record in successful trust & foundation fundraising, coupled with strong communication and relationship management skills. You should have experience translating complex ideas into compelling proposals, along with the ability to analyse data and draw out trends. Experience in international development or a demonstrable interest in global issues is desirable.

Spectra are looking for a Senior Trust Fundraiser, focussing on larger trusts, to join a growing fundraising team with exciting plans. You will contribute to raising the income required to continue delivering counselling, advocacy, mentoring, outreach, groups and other support services at Spectra, and work with a team to implement a new fundraising plan. You will report the Fundraising Manager. 

You will be confident working with diverse and intersectional groups who face social exclusion and inequalities around access to appropriate health care, wellbeing and holistic support. You will be able unequivocally to respect, support, promote and work within LGBTQ+ and other diverse communities.

£36,000 pro rata, 3 days per week.  Hybrid working (office in Ladbroke Grove) with 25 days holiday and bank holidays (pro rata), plus a pension scheme.
