Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location: The Community Village, Rock Ferry, and the Wirral community.

Working Pattern: 35 Hours per week (to be discussed)

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum (FTE) Depending on experience

Core Responsibilities

1. Lead the organisation, establish its standards, and represent it as the public face and ambassador.

2. Serve as the organisation’s figurehead while strengthening and expanding relationships with commissioners and key stakeholders.

3. Define the strategic direction in collaboration with the Board of Trustees.

4. Implement the strategic plan and drive sustainable organisational growth.

Leadership And Managerial Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation, providing direct line management to the Operations and Human Resources Director, Finance Manager and Consultants.

• Deliver strong, visible leadership across the organisation.

• Accountable for shaping, influencing, and delivering both internal and external operational strategies.

• Maintain strategic oversight of existing contracts and services, ensuring effective delivery and performance.

• Develop, monitor, and review key operational resources, including business plans, business continuity plans, and risk registers.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Scope and drive forward funding & partnership opportunities in support of sustainability and growth.

• Grow Involve Northwest’s network of commissioners and strategic/mutually beneficial partnerships.

• Identify the opportunities for collaboration and diversification.

• Consider the organisation, its destination and routes to that destination with ‘out of the box’ thinking.

• Reviewing all aspects of service provision and the roles of Involve Northwest personnel.

• Oversee management of Involve Northwest assets, including any buildings.

• Assist in identifying new premises and the basis upon which they are occupied (purchased/leased) in the context of Involve Northwest’s needs.

• Lead on organisational change; provide governance around internal resources, communication and marketing, and growth.

• Lead on all funding opportunities, including the scoping and writing of bids and responses to tender invitations, expressions of interest and soft market testing as appropriate.

• Overseeing Involve Northwest’s communication and marketing strategy.

Partnerships Management

Involve Northwest is predominantly funded through contracts with central and local government. The successful person will interface directly with funders and commissioners, managing those relationships and attending contract meetings where appropriate. Attend external meetings/groups and act as the ‘face’ of the organisation, in collaboration with the Management Team.

The role will focus on growing Involve Northwest’s influence within our network of commissioners and strategic/mutually beneficial partnerships to secure future commissions in new delivery themes or areas in the Northwest that align with our strategy and vision.

You would also be expected to identify, explore, and develop new partnerships outside Involve Northwest’s traditional stakeholders with organisations in both the public and private sectors.

This role profile is not exhaustive and is subject to review in conjunction with the post holder and according to future changes/developments within the Company.

• Working in the third sector would be useful but is not essential.

The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of UnitedGMH. Reporting to the boards of UnitedGMH and the American Friends of United for Global Mental Health (AFUGMH), the CEO will set strategic direction, oversee delivery, and act as the organisation’s primary ambassador.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Leadership

• Lead in conjunction with the organisation’s senior staff the refinement and delivery of our global organisational strategy 2027-2030.
• Guide the organisation through periods of change, including strategy refresh and transformation.
• Draw on sector insight to ensure UnitedGMH remains at the forefront of global mental health advocacy.

Governance & Board Relationship

• Work closely with the boards of UnitedGMH and AFUGMH to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
• Oversee the preparation and sign-off of board papers; present regularly to the boards. 
• Identify, recommend and support the recruitment of new members of both boards. 
• Advise the boards on significant strategic decisions, including potential partnerships and organisational change.

Organisational Leadership

• Lead, support and inspire a high-performing and global team of approximately 20 staff.
• Where needed, oversee and support the delivery of multiple projects and programmes aligned with strategic priorities, in conjunction with the project leads.
• Foster a collaborative, kind, inclusive and values-driven culture that walks the talk on mental health.

External Engagement & Influence

• Represent the organisation with external partners, funders, policymakers and the wider sector. 
• Build and manage relationships with key donors.
• Strengthen and expand strategic partnerships globally.

Finance & Organisational Planning

• Identify and agree organisational objectives, develop strategic and operational plans, and lead their implementation with a high level of autonomy, while reporting to the boards.

Risk, Compliance & Accountability

• Ensure strong organisational governance, compliance and risk management. 
• Proactively identify and escalate policy breaches or serious incidents. 
• Oversee finance, HR and operations functions in accordance with UK employment policies, and UK and US charity regulations.
• Act as the primary point of accountability to the boards and relevant regulatory bodies (including the Charity Commission and US authorities). 
• Take responsibility for organisational risks, decisions and outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and operations of the Cabot Learning Federation. This is a pivotal executive leadership role where you will provide assurance to the Chief Operating Officer, CEO and Board of Trustees across all financial matters, including financial sustainability, risk, and control frameworks.

As a key member of the Executive Team, you will play a central role in shaping the long-term financial direction of a large and growing multi-academy trust. You will lead the development and delivery of the Trust-wide financial strategy, ensuring that resources are aligned with priorities and delivering maximum impact for pupils, staff, and communities.

About You

To be successful, you will be a highly accomplished and strategic finance leader, combining strong technical expertise with the ability to influence at the executive and board level.

• A recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) with extensive senior-level experience

Rainbow Mind is looking for a Therapeutic Services Manager to oversee our one-to-one therapy service.

We are looking for a visionary with expertise in therapeutic approaches and an unstoppable passion for LGBTQIA+ mental health. Someone who understands the health inequalities and barriers to accessing mental health services people from the community can face. Someone who is committed to change.

Overall Purpose of the Role:

• To effectively manage and provide strategic and operational oversight of the Rainbow Mind counselling service and development of service provision.
• To ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality counselling across the client cohorts, supporting and empowering our service users, whilst ensuring clinical work is carried out in accordance with BACP ethical guidelines and Rainbow Mind protocols.
• As part of the Senior Leadership Team, to contribute to Mind in Salford / Rainbow Mind’s vision, mission and objectives.

Main focus of the role:

• To lead, develop, coordinate, and represent Rainbow Mind’s counselling service internally and externally at Senior Management level.
• To conduct some clinical assessments and carry a caseload of counselling clients.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant recognised qualification(s) at a minimum of Level 4 Diploma in the field of Counselling or psychotherapy with A minimum of 300 clinical client hours completed. BACP Accredited Member status (or registered member of the UKCP) is desirable; candidates working towards accreditation are welcome to apply.

The Therapeutic Services Manager will ensure high quality and consistent delivery within the counselling service, provide service-wide clinical oversight including safeguarding and risk monitoring and manage and lead a safe, professional, sustainable, and accessible counselling service consistent with Rainbow Mind’s vision, ethics, policies, and objectives.

They will line management of associate therapists, provide a number of weekly assessment/1-to-1 counselling slots, ensure service outcomes are effectively monitored and evaluated, promote the profile of Rainbow Mind and lead on the review and update of clinical literature, assessment processes, outcome measures, and clinical policies.

We are a newly registered, fully-funded UK health charity embarking on a variety of health-related Missions.  Having secured Charity Commission approval and robust initial funding, we are now ready to step out of the planning phase.

Duet Health Foundation is starting with significant funding and access to external resources to support our initial campaigns which will include;

- Addressing significant safety issues related to certain commonly used medicines, gathering data on adverse events and deaths in order to campaign for ways to mitigate this.

- Raising awareness of rare diseases which are being missed. These can significantly affect sufferers’ lives, and while they may be relatively easy to diagnose and treat, are often simply not recognised by primary healthcare providers.

We are seeking our first employee—a visionary Director of Operations—to build our operational infrastructure from the ground up and turn our strategic vision into a highly impactful reality.

The Role

As our first hire, you will be a key part of the operational architecture of the charity. Working closely with the Founders, you will help transition the organisation from a newly approved legal entity into a fully functional, compliant, and active campaigning force. This is not a role for someone who just wants to manage existing systems; it is for a builder who also wants to create them.

The Director of Operations is a pivotal senior leadership role within the organisation, responsible for creating the operational backbone of the organisation. This role ensures that the organisation’s systems, people, suppliers and processes operate smoothly, safely and compliantly, enabling high-quality delivery. The Director of Operations will provide strong day-to-day operational leadership and discipline, freeing the Founders to focus on strategy, partnerships and organisational growth. The postholder will be highly organised, practical and accountable, with a strong focus on implementation and follow‑through.

To apply for this role, you will need to have significant operational management experience in a charity or similar environment. You will have demonstrable experience of managing complex operational systems and will have proven experience of workforce planning, operational delivery and implementing organisational change. You will have experience of managing suppliers, contracts and procurement processes and will have a strong understanding of operational compliance, risk management and audit readiness. Overall, you will be practical, organised and solutions-focused, with the confidence to work across teams and with trustees, suppliers and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Blueprinting: Design, implement, and oversee all required documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), financial controls, and risk management systems.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure total alignment with Charity Commission regulations, particularly the CC9 guidelines regarding political and health campaigning.
• Information Governance: Establish secure data sharing, privacy frameworks, and GDPR structures for future collection of sensitive patient and clinical data.
• Strategic Scaling: Manage third-party vendors (legal, IT, Associate contractors etc) and eventually support building the infrastructure for future recruitment.

About You

• Experienced: You have at least 5 years’ experience of operational management within the UK charity sector of the NHS, the pharmaceutical industry, or healthcare regulation (e.g., MHRA, NICE).
• A "Builder": You thrive on both teamwork and autonomy. You have a proven track record of setting up systems, policies, and teams from scratch.
• Governance Savvy: You have a solid understanding of UK charity law, compliance, and financial frameworks.
• Locally Based: You live within 25 miles of Camberley, Surrey, allowing for regular, in-person collaboration with the Founders.
