White Ribbon Alliance UK is recruiting a Project Coordinator to provide hands-on coordination and delivery support as the organisation enters a period of growth.

Several major pieces of work are starting at the same time, and this role exists to bring consistency, follow-through, and organisation to day-to-day activity. The focus is practical coordination rather than strategy or senior decision-making.

About the role

This is a deliberately focused, delivery-enabling role. You will help keep work moving by managing inboxes and calendars, tracking project actions and deadlines, supporting training and events, drafting internal documents and reports, and providing  coordination with volunteers.

You will also support governance processes in a practical way (for example, scheduling reviews and updating documents based on agreed inputs), without owning governance decisions.

Not all areas of responsibility will be active every week. Priorities will be agreed and reviewed regularly to ensure the role remains manageable within part-time hours.

This role does not involve strategy, line management, system design, or ownership of organisational decisions.

Working pattern

Hours will be worked to a set, predictable weekly schedule, agreed with the successful candidate. We are open to different working patterns (for example, three days per week, or a mix of full and half days), provided hours are agreed in advance.

About you

You’ll be organised, reliable, and comfortable handling multiple threads at once. You’ll be confident turning meetings, notes, or recordings into clear written outputs, and trusted to handle sensitive information appropriately, including personal data.

The Role

Pregnant Then Screwed’s Tribunal Mentor Programme is a peer-to-peer support service for women and parents taking legal action against an employer for pregnancy and maternity discrimination. We match mentees with volunteer mentors who have been through the Employment Tribunal process themselves for 12 weeks of support through weekly calls. We relaunched the programme in October 2025, and now, with funding from The National Lottery, we are looking for a part time Support Services Coordinator to help us grow and maintain new mentoring matches. 

As the Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and inducting mentees and volunteers onto the programme and supporting matches throughout their journey. You’ll also drive engagement with the programme, and develop recruitment strategies for potential volunteers and mentees. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the Tribunal Mentor Programme and volunteers. 

• Welcoming new mentee and mentor applicants to the programme through 121 and group calls. 

• Recruitment and engagement of new volunteers and participants. 

• Monitoring our Community WhatsApp groups and responding to enquiries.

• Hosting regularly mentor and mentee online check-ins.

What We Offer

At WeSwim, we support disabled adults to swim in welcoming, inclusive volunteer run clubs across London. For many of our swimmers, the water offers a new freedom, easing pain, building confidence, and opening up new ways to move and connect.

We’re now looking for a Cubs and Community coordinator to help keep our swim sessions running smoothly and our community growing well.

This role is about people, organisation and care. You’ll coordinate weekly swim sessions, support swimmers throughout their journey with WeSwim, and make sure the behind-the-scenes admin is handled accurately and calmly. You’ll play an important role in welcoming new swimmers into our community,  building relationships with other third-sector organisations, managing waiting lists, and helping ensure our clubs remain active and well-attended.

You’ll get to know our swimmers as individuals ensuring that we can continue to create an experience where people feel supported and welcomed. No two weeks will look the same, but every week will be full of purpose.

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers. 

You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.

To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA. 

Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South West region in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire or Somerset. There will be occasional travel around the South West Region, and you will be required to travel for quarterly face to face team meetings. 

About the team 

The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the South West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team of 10, which includes two Regional Casework Managers and a Regional Operations Manager.

To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.

 It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. The role entails oversight of the operations and strategy of the organisation, responsibility for financial management and fundraising, maintaining the health of the organisation and embedding anti-racist and anti-opressive values into every aspect of the organisation. 

We’re seeking an experienced charity leader to work with our partner charities, Lintel Trust in Scotland and Lifting Lives in England & Wales.  

As an experienced, motivated charity leader you will drive LHCPGs charitable aspirations through working with our partner charities, Lintel Trust in Scotland and Lifting Lives in England and Wales, so helping us deliver meaningful community benefit across the UK.  

In this central role, that will require some travel as you attend meetings in Edinburgh and Uxbridge offices, you will ensure governance, lead strategic development, build partnerships, and support and facilitate fundraising and operational activity, ensuring our charitable work continues to improve lives and places.  

What You’ll Do

• Lead governance, statutory compliance, and Trustee support across both Trusts.
• Work with Trustees to develop charity strategies, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Support the grant-making and reporting processes, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Build strong partnerships and represent the Trusts at events and sector forums.
• Drive fundraising and income generation to expand charitable impact.
• Oversee marketing, digital presence, and communications.
• Line manage the Charities Liaison Coordinator and foster a collaborative team culture. 

What You Need 

• Strong knowledge of charity regulation (OSCR and/or Charity Commission).
• Experience running or overseeing a charity and working with Trustees.
• Proven fundraising, grant assessment, and budget management experience.
• Excellent communication, report writing and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in marketing, events and digital content management.
• Understanding of social value, housing issues, and community-focused work.
• Desirable: public sector/housing experience and degree-level qualification.
