The Role

What will I be doing?

As Accreditation Coordinator you will part of the Membership and Inclusion team. The role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to upholding quality and standards. We are looking for an organised, resilient individual who can work without close supervision.

Duties include:

• Organising degree accreditation visits, accreditation events, and committee meetings
• Responding to a wide range of enquiries from internation and external contacts
• Conducting initial reviews of degree accreditation applications

Projects you work on may include:

• Development and delivery of assessor training
• Supporting the development of a course endorsement scheme
• Assisting with the enhancement of doctoral training accreditation

Who will I work with?

• Colleagues in Professional Registration, Policy, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
• Senior academics in physics departments and university quality offices
• IOP members who volunteer their time to support degree accreditation and professional registration

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a community engagement coordinator who is passionate about supporting women and children impacted by domestic violence and other forms of abuse. The community engagement coordinator will work as part of a team of the community engagement service working across East, West and South London. The key aims of this new service are to build relationships with specialist providers across south, west, and east London, where our services are clustered, to develop a menu of enhanced support opportunities to meet survivors’ social, health and financial needs.

This is a very important role in Refuge, which will make a real difference to the lives of the women and children that Refuge supports every day. Together as a team, you will create pathways to decrease social inclusion, increase participation in community activities, employment, education and training. You will be skilled at working with a diverse range of audiences and will be adept at creating and developing new partnerships and pathways that improve the lives of survivors of domestic abuse and gender-based violence.

Sophie Hayes Foundation (SHF) is a small but mighty charity, empowering women survivors of 
modern slavery and exploitation. It is an important time at SHF. Our new strategy ‘Sustainable 
Freedom from Modern Slavery’ launched in 2024 and this role is essential for the delivery of the 
strategy and ensuring that survivors of modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation have
access to the support and opportunities they need to achieve their aspirations, independence 
and a positive future. With soaring numbers of referral to the NRM and thousands more victims 
living in fear of a hostile environment, this has never been more important than now. 

At the heart of Sophie Hayes Foundation’s work will be the support to and empowerment of 
survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking and this role is critical to survivors’ journeys 
to sustainable freedom. 

Alongside a small, friendly and dedicated team, you will coordinate and deliver our 
programmes for survivors of modern slavery, including our flagship Employability Programme 
(EP) and our Conversational English for Independence (CEFI) course. 

You will also work in close partnership of the development and delivery of new programmes for 
survivors, embodying our strategic aim of ‘meeting survivors where they are and taking them to 
where they want to be’. You will champion the voices of survivors through the work of the 
organisation, working with colleagues in CREW to provide continued support to survivors’ long 
term.

About the Role

• Deliver Sophie Hayes Foundations Employability Programme and Conversational English for Independence Course to survivors.
• Support development and growth of these and other future programmes.
• Take responsibility for all programme logistics and communications with partners, survivors, and suppliers. 
• Accurate data input to and management of internal monitoring and finance systems, working closely with the Head of Programmes to analyse trends and contribute to reporting. 
• Actively engage with local, regional, and national partners and anti-slavery networks
• To maintain effective survivor referral pathways and raise awareness of the Foundation’s work.
• Supervise and manage Employability Programme volunteers.
• Contribute to centring survivor perspectives in the work of Sophie Hayes Foundation by sharing and channelling learning from programme delivery to colleagues. Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding across all learning and development activities.
• Other duties which may arise under the implementation of the new strategy, as directed by the Head of Employability Programme.

• Provide unwavering support to service users from their initial contact with our service throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
• Implement tailored interventions aimed at reducing the harm caused by opiate use, either through group sessions or one-on-one engagement.

The Role
The role of a Senior Programme Coordinator is ensuring the smooth running of all programme related events and providing support services to Associate Fellows. This will include having a full understanding of all the SEO London programmes; understanding the relevant industry that the programme supports; how these fit into the SEO London organisation and using this knowledge to liaise with students, young professionals and client/partner firms to run, organise and market successful events.

In turn this role will be responsible for using data to run reports to show the impact of each programme. In coordination with the Programme Managers and other Senior Programme Coordinators, will make recommendations for possible changes and ideas to further support the student and young professional experience. The role will also ensure a seamless and professional level of customer care to all participants.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Programme Delivery and Logistics

· Responsibility for the scoping and delivery of key projects and events based on a strong understanding about the required outcomes from the partner firms and participants.

· Responsibility managing an end-to-end project, including managing to deadlines/time management/project mile-stones, along with resource planning and stakeholder as well as identifying and signing up volunteers, participants or partners for the events.

Participant Management and Marketing and Communication

· Responsible for finding and sourcing more participants via outreach lead, as well as having overall accountability for maintaining and developing strong participant relationships. Accountable for ensuring appropriate employability tools are delivered via the coordination teams.

· Responsible for using marketing techniques to adapt the relevant promotional outcomes needed for both participants and the sponsor firm, including being aware of the full range of channels available and to ensure that the marketing communications is targeted to the right audience, at the right time with the right message.

· The ability to create the right marketing and communication campaigns appropriate for the audience and to ensure it fit the purpose.

· As the main point of contact for the project, ensure that seamless communication is maintained for all key stakeholders (internally and externally) during the project lifecycle including logistics with the students and partner firms.

Participant Assessment and Selection

· Organise and conduct the recruitment, assessment and recommendation of candidates for junior talent opportunities.

· Manage SEO alumni relations to ensure mentoring and training provision for responsible programmes.

· Attendance at in-person and online events, working alongside the AIP team to ensure effective events,

Quality Assurance

· Responsible for reviewing each project or event at the end to identify further opportunities and ways to continue to deliver strong projects across the range of SEO London programme by using polls, surveys and evaluation methods.

· Responsible for ensuring all student, partner, event and volunteer information and feedback is captured accurately and timely in the CRM, as well as ensuring compliance with all the relevant process standards.

We’re looking for a Communities Development Coordinator to support, develop and grow student-led societies, sports clubs and other communities at Arts SU. This role is all about helping students get involved, whether that’s through joining a student group, planning and running events or stepping up as a student leader. You’ll be the first point of contact for over 100 student groups, providing tailored support, training and advice to help them thrive. From processing finance requests and booking spaces to helping deliver key events like Welcome Fair, Varsity, and Awards, you’ll make sure students and colleagues have what they need to succeed. You’ll oversee student group elections, manage the promotion of opportunities, and work with colleagues across UAL to create inclusive spaces where students are welcomed and engaged.

We want someone organised and approachable, who loves working with students. You should have experience planning and delivering events or projects, and ideally some knowledge of community development in education or the third sector. Good communication skills are key – you’ll be supporting a wider range of student leaders and need to explain processes in simple accessible ways. You’ll also need to be confident working with budgets and able to manage competing priorities. Flexibility and a positive, problem solving attitude are essential, as you’ll often be working on multiple tasks or helping students troubleshoot challenges. More importantly, you’ll be someone who values inclusivity, enjoys collaborating with colleagues and students, and doesn’t mind working the occasional evening or weekend when big events are happening.

JOB PURPOSE

• Engage students to participate in activities and events by supporting and developing student-led societies and sports clubs, volunteering and other student communities.

• Provide accurate, consistent and innovative support to the 100+ groups, committees members and group members.

About Strength & Stem

Strength & Stem is a charity and social enterprise that uses floristry to empower female modern slavery survivors. We want to see female survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking restored from their trauma, empowered for the future, and able to sustain a good quality of life. We achieve our vision by offering an evidence-based, holistic programme. It incorporates tailored skills training (including vocational floristry, prevocational and wellbeing skills training), work experience, mentorship, and a supportive community. We run a nine-month programme each year, as well as alumni events and social cafes. The skills and experiences survivors gain through our programme create a lasting difference for them and their families through economic independence, strengthened wellbeing and increased community.  

Role summary

The Programme Coordinator plays a key operational role at the heart of Strength & Stem, ensuring the smooth delivery of our programmes and events. This includes coordinating a series of 12 weekly floristry and skills workshops, supporting the mentoring scheme, and organising independent events such as our annual graduation celebration, alumni gatherings and ad-hoc floristry workshops.

The role combines logistics, participant engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and communications across all areas of delivery. It is varied and dynamic — balancing hands-on support during programme delivery with significant behind-the-scenes coordination, administration and reporting.

It’s ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, keeping systems organised, and ensuring everything runs smoothly while contributing to meaningful impact for women rebuilding their lives after modern slavery.

Overview of the Role 

This integral new role to the National Community Programmes team will drive forward our important Britain in Bloom, It’s Your Neighbourhood (IYN) and Affiliated Societies programmes, ensuring their smooth administration and continued success.

Together with the Community Programmes Manager and Officer, you will be coordinating the day-to-day administrative aspects of our programmes. This will include providing our Affiliated Societies members with an exceptional service and growing its membership. This role requires excellent communication and administration skill with the ability to accurately update and maintain database systems. You will need to have a flexible approach to work, the ability to multitask and maintain a friendly approach when liaising with different people, ensuring high levels of customer care and excellent attention to detail.

As Community Programmes Coordinator you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating Affiliated Societies membership to ensure members have a positive experience and continue their relationship with the RHS.

• Providing administrative support to the Britain in Bloom Federation

• Working with the Community Programmes Officer to research, plan and organise the Britain in Bloom UK Finals competition judging.

• Organising and supporting National Community Programmes online or in-person events, network meetings and services.
• Providing administrative support to the National Community Programmes team to ensure programmes are delivered. 

About you

You will be able to show: 

• An enjoyment of working in secretarial and administrative settings including collating data, organising meetings, scheduling diaries and answering general enquiries.

• An interest and experience of planning and making travel and accommodation bookings.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, demonstrating excellent time management, prioritisation, and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to engage with different audiences.

About the Event

The Schools Triathlon is a fun, mass participation sporting event for 7–13 year olds. Its mission? To get more young people moving, having fun, and discovering the power of fundraising. In 2025, over 10,000 young people took part in 12 events, raising an incredible £1.5 million for Restless Development and local charities. Since it began, the Schools Triathlon has raised over £5 million—making it our flagship fundraising event.

About the Role

As the Fundraising Events Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Schools Triathlon series. You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Schools Triathlon Committee, event venues, local schools, participants, volunteers, and our event delivery partners.

You’ll take the lead on two to three Schools Triathlon events, managing all aspects of planning and delivery with the school and our third party event company. This includes delivering engaging school assemblies at local schools to inspire pupils to take part and fundraise for Restless Development.

Our volunteers are the heart of the Schools Triathlon and without them, these events simply couldn’t happen. This role will be crucial in recruiting, coordinating, and supporting volunteers before, during, and after each event.

With support from the Senior Fundraising Manager. You will:

• Develop and implement creative volunteer recruitment strategies.
• Build strong relationships with local community groups 
• Manage volunteer communications, ensuring a positive and rewarding experience.
• Work closely with each of the host schools to support them with their student and staff volunteers
• Lead on the Duke of Edinburgh volunteer programme, working closely with host schools to expand and strengthen this initiative.

This is a varied and hands-on role, offering plenty of opportunities to develop your skills across different areas of events and volunteer management. You’ll need to be proactive, adaptable, and able to manage your time effectively while staying calm under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with a wide range of people.

Expected travel : Travel to London for staff meetings and other areas in the UK. Evening and weekend work for which time off in lieu will be given. Expenses for travel and work outside working hours will be given according to our policy.

Key Responsibilities:

Schools Triathlon Events:

• Support the planning and delivery of Schools Triathlon events from start to finish.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Schools Triathlon team to ensure smooth logistics, communications, and event-day operations.
• Attend meetings with schools, venues, and third-party suppliers to coordinate event logistics.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders including schools, committees, and delivery partners.
• Deliver engaging school assemblies and fundraising workshops to inspire participation and fundraising.
• Manage the assembly tracker to ensure it is kept up to date, with relevant members of the team notified when new assemblies are booked in.

Volunteer Management

• Take ownership of the volunteer project plan for all Schools Triathlon events.
• Lead the recruitment of event volunteers and student volunteers across host schools.
• Build strong, positive relationships with volunteers, ensuring a high-quality and rewarding stewardship experience.
• Coordinate and support local volunteer groups to ensure each event is fully staffed.
• Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Manager and host schools to deliver and expand the Duke of Edinburgh volunteer programme.
• Identify creative ways to grow and strengthen the Schools Triathlon volunteer network.
• Manage the volunteer inbox, responding promptly and professionally to all enquiries.

Systems, Processes & Communications:

• Support the team with event communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses.
• Use DotDigital to deliver email communications to volunteers and event participants.
• Confidently use Excel to process data and maintain accurate records across internal and external databases.
• Log and manage data accurately in Eventrac (registration system) and Salesforce (CRM), including imports, new records, and regular data cleaning.
• Support the management of fundraising through JustGiving, ensuring all fundraising pages are correctly logged and tracked within the CRM. 

Others 

• Must attend the Schools Triathlons as needed across April, May and June and other occasional evening and weekend work, for which time off in lieu will be given.
• Support on wider charity initiatives as and when needed
• Many of the schools we have relationships with are not accessible by public transport, so it is vital you have access to a reliable roadworthy vehicle. All travel will be reimbursed in accordance with Restless Development’s travel policy.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by the Senior Fundraising Manager. 
• Support the Senior Fundraising Manager with developing an individual giving process.

Essential

• Experience in planning and delivering events, ideally within the charity, education, or community sector.
• Experience of working with volunteers or an understanding of what makes a positive volunteer experience.

• Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.

• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and confident using digital tools for communication and data management.

Desirables

• Experience in fundraising or supporting fundraising initiatives.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), event platforms (Eventrac, JustGiving), and email marketing tools (DotDigital).
• Experience delivering presentations or workshops, particularly with young people.

Job Purpose

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Responsibilities include delivering programme and network activities, managing local hubs, supporting events and meetings, and participating in recruitment and retention activities led by the Partnerships Team.

We are looking for new colleagues to focus on delivering our programmes and networks, ensuring a great experience for our partner schools (about 60-80% of your time). The remaining time will be spent on hub account management, supporting knowledge exchange and network growth, and handling general partner queries.

Key Responsibilities

Programme and Network Delivery:

- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.

- Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.

- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including resolving operational issues and escalating as needed.

- Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.
