The Social Media and Digital Content Manager is central to shaping and delivering the Young Vic's social media and digital content strategies. This role will take ownership of the Young Vic’s social media channels, promoting the full scope of programming and projects and bringing the Young Vic’s brand and tone of voice to life for our online audiences. It will also lead the Young Vic's approach to digital storytelling and video content, finding innovative ways to engage new audiences in our programming and bring them closer to the artistic visions and processes behind our work. With a history stretching back over 800 years, the Hereford Cathedral Almshouses Charity offers its residents a wonderful blend of historic architectural heritage with a true sense of community and belonging. The charity’s objective is “the relief of poverty through the provision of almshouse accommodation” and this has traditionally focussed on providing housing for people on lower incomes. Rooted in gospel values, its Christian ethos has ensured a unique pastoral presence and availability to residents, unlike secular housing provision. However, current trustees also recognise the need to address poverty in its less obvious manifestations such as are related to spiritual, mental and physical health, and see the role of a parish nurse as integral to achieving this. For the right person, there is a unique opportunity to integrate their nursing expertise with their faith, thereby adding a holistic dimension to the charity’s objective not previously contemplated in this way.
OUR VISION FOR THE PARISH NURSING SERVICE
While Herefordshire is a beautiful rural county, this charm hides some serious issues. National measures of poverty tend to focus on large cities, such that the specific challenges of rural or country town life—like high housing costs, transport, difficulty accessing community healthcare provision and social isolation — can often fall under the radar.
Poverty means more than lack of money although this often sits at the heart of other manifestations. Addressing matters of health and access to health and social services can, and should, be understood as another form of poverty alleviation which can have tangible benefits for the elderly, carers and young families on low incomes. Furthermore, poverty in psycho-spiritual care and dignity, particularly related to death and dying are significant issues in our rural setting.
Recognising the needs described above, the Hereford Cathedral Almshouses Charity has embarked on a strategy committed to alleviating such poverty. In an effort to provide groundbreaking pastoral, social and practical support for our communities, the trustees, in conjunction with the Chapter of Hereford Cathedral would like to appoint a Parish Nurse. This would initially be to support the residents of the Almshouses, with the intention, in due course, of expanding the service to those in the wider community, including potential collaboration with other local organisations.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Parish Nurse will play a vital role in helping to achieve holistic pastoral care by supporting and building relationships with the residents of the Almshouses in Hereford and Ledbury, and being appropriately available to support the community associated with Hereford Cathedral which has a growing number of elderly people and young families.
Responsible to the Dean of Hereford and linked with Parish Nursing Ministries UK (PNMUK), the Parish Nurse is to provide nursing support to recipients, regardless of their faith position. This support will integrate spiritual, physical, psychological, emotional and social health to the residents of our Almshouses in Hereford and Ledbury, and the wider cathedral community. Supported by the Steering Group, the Parish Nurse will be accountable to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the Chapter of Hereford Cathedral, the Hereford Cathedral Almshouses Charity, and a spiritual supervisor who will be determined in due course.

Chorlton Good Neighbours is a small, well-loved neighbourhood charity with roots back to the late 1960s, working to reduce loneliness and support older people across Chorlton and adjacent neighbourhoods. Our work is local, practical and volunteer-led: befriending, home visits, transport, weekly activities, monthly teas, intergenerational groups and occasional day trips are all delivered with warmth and care.

About Chapter One
Chapter One's mission is to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most. We want a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive.
Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 180 local and national businesses. The volunteer task is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

About the role
Chapter One is seeking a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to be an integral part of a team which aims to both maximise corporate income and deliver an excellent partner experience.
Reporting to our Corporate Partnerships Manager, but also working closely with our Business Development Manager, you’ll support them both to deliver our annual volunteer targets and maintain our strong partner retention rate (currently 84%). This will involve supporting the account management of a portfolio of existing partners and the responsibility to nurture relationships to increase partner investment in Chapter One over time. The role involves collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for volunteers and partners.

Key Responsibilities
Partner Stewardship
As determined by the Corporate Partnerships Manager, lead the account management of a selected portfolio of corporate partners, achieving annual retention and growth targets for these partnerships.
Focus, in all corporate partnership discussions, on maximising income and identifying opportunities to grow a partner’s support.
Plan and conduct a regular cycle of partnership meetings, including mid and end of year reviews, proactively seeking out new opportunities that will maximise income and retain and grow partner support.
Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager to produce high quality written communications, reports and pitches as per the requirements of each partner, collaborating with the Data and Systems Officer and other teams as needed.

Partner/Volunteer Onboarding and Experience
Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager, Head of Corporate Partnerships and Volunteer Support Team to ensure that partner and volunteer onboarding is a smooth and positive experience.
Lead volunteer recruitment meetings as requested by partners, including presenting the programme to prospective volunteers and creating excitement and interest.
Alongside the Corporate Partnerships Manager, use internal systems to assign partner teams and volunteers to specific schools and ensure that their needs are met.
Build proactive, supportive relationships with Volunteer Coordinators across partner organisations, providing timely, high-quality data and insights, and delivering an excellent partner experience to foster long lasting relationships.
Work with Programme Manager team, Volunteer Support Team and IT team, to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Support the Programme Management team to liaise with partner contacts about the organisation of in-person school/office visits and virtual meet and greets.

Marketing and Communications
Work with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that companies and volunteers have access to an array of promotional assets and recruitment materials.
Contribute content for the regular volunteer and corporate partner newsletters, including working with partners to gather volunteer testimonials and partner profiles.
Encourage corporate partners and volunteers to promote Chapter One through their own social media and channels.

About the role
We are recruiting a Head of Income Generation & Engagement, who will be an integral part of the Executive Team, working closely with colleagues to help shape the organisation’s direction, contribute to key decisions, and drive income generation, marketing and engagement. The Head of Income Generation & Engagement is responsible for developing and delivering an ambitious, integrated strategy that maximises sustainable charitable income, strengthens Age UK Merton’s brand and reputation, and deepens engagement across the communities we serve.
This a commercially focused role, developing and expanding our current paid-for services, ensuring service processes, staffing structures and client pathways are robust and underpin Age UK Merton’s continued sustainability and good reputation. The role will be responsible for the startup of strategic fundraising activity across the borough, decreasing our reliance on our current income streams, and diversifying our avenues of income to support long-term service development & growth.

Key result areas:
Fundraising
· To set the strategic direction for income generation at Age UK Merton, developing and delivering a sustainable portfolio of future-focused fundraising that grows income and optimises the supporter journey over the long term.
· To lead the diversification of income, reducing reliance on any single partner or
activity and building a resilient, balanced fundraising portfolio that represent a high return on investment and grows our supporter base. This will be via individuals, corporates, trusts & foundations, statutory bodies and the community; cultivating long-term, meaningful partnerships, enhancing Age UK Merton’s reach, influence and income-generating potential.
· To strengthen and grow the legacy pipeline, overseeing effective stewardship and marketing, and will oversee the external lottery, ensuring regulatory compliance and annual growth.
· To maintain an agile, insight-driven approach to stay ahead of sector trends and competitor activity.
· To develop sound business cases for investment in new income generation posts or activity.
· To build organisational resource capability and resilience to facilitate future growth.
Commercial Services
· To develop and expand our paid-for services, with a focus on outreach activity to widen reach and access to services, and to increase client numbers and those in underrepresented and underserved populations.
· To develop and expand our paid-for services, to increase client numbers to create a step change in sustainable income and delivery of services across the borough.
· To ensure our paid-for services represent a strong return on investment and to ensure the business model is regularly reviewed for cost efficiencies and potential for growth.
· To ensure service processes, staffing structures and client pathways are robust and underpin Age UK Merton’s good reputation.
· Where appropriate, to seek out funding via grants, trusts and foundations to bolster paid-for service activity, overseeing bid development processes, ensuring quality, competitiveness, transparency and appropriate risk assessment.
· To continuously evaluate the potential for partnership working and collaboration to increase impact and improve performance.
Engagement
· To shape and deliver an engagement strategy that spans all Age UK Merton audiences, growing brand awareness and deepening engagement, understanding motivations and behaviours, and ensuring we focus our efforts where they can make the greatest difference.
· To identify underrepresentation and underserved groups within our borough, building relationships with communities and community leaders to create two-way dialogues to understand unmet need and inform future service development.
· To champion digital, data-led ways of working across engagement activity, working to strengthen our digital presence, and using insights to create relevant, compelling and personalised experiences across all channels.
· As custodian of the Age UK Merton brand, to ensure consistency, clarity and strength of messaging across the organisation.
· To lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing, communications and public relations strategies, ensuring a seamless omni-channel approach.
· To ensure that external communications are accurate, values-led, and reflective of organisational impact, maintaining confidence among funders, partners, and the wider public.
Communications & Marketing
· To lead the development and delivery of a communications strategy that maximises opportunities to increase Age UK Merton’s profile locally and nationally.
· To oversee the development and delivery of our digital channels, in particular social media and the website.
· To oversee the editorial direction, design, production, distribution and quality of the organisation’s publications.
Strategy and Partnerships
· To work as part of the Executive Team, shaping the organisational strategy, culture and cross departmental ways of working.
· To lead the development and delivery of seamless income generation and engagement strategies and annual operating plans aligned to organisational priorities.
· To set, manage and monitor budgets, ensuring clear targets, KPIs and accountability across teams.
· To provide high-quality analysis, reporting and insight to inform strategic decision-making, Board reporting and accountability to funders.
· To ensure robust management of restricted and contractual funding, setting financial controls, to comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
· To act as an ambassador and spokesperson for Age UK Merton, representing with
Professionalism, confidence and compassion.
· To build and maintain strategic partnerships, networks and relationships to strengthen visibility, influence and community engagement.
Governance, Compliance & Risk
· Ensure compliance with the Charity Commission, Fundraising Regulator, the Gambling Commission, advertising standards and GDPR/data-protection legislation.
· To contribute to strong risk-management frameworks, ensuring early identification, mitigation, and appropriate investigation of risks.
· Oversee policy development as applicable for the department.
People
· To grow and develop a high-performing team, and to make the case for further resource investment where appropriate, in order to recruit and develop a multi-disciplinary team covering income generation, marketing, communications and engagement, with a view to develop a culture of creativity and professionalism across the entire team.
· To ensure effective performance management, with regular 1:1s, appraisal, individual and team development and succession planning.
· To embed, review and optimise new team structures and systems to maximise efficiency, impact and income.
· To ensure volunteers are effectively integrated, supported and aligned to organisational priorities.

Sydenham Garden, based in Lewisham in South-East London, is a special, unique and beloved wellbeing centre utilising its gardens, nature reserve and activity rooms to help people living with and recovering from mental and physical ill-health. We provide nature and arts based creative, social and therapeutic activities for co-workers (the name we give our primary beneficiaries). Each year we work with on average over 250 co-workers and over 70 volunteers.
