Job description

Are you looking to work in fundraising? Or are you relatively new to fundraising and looking to develop your skills raising money from charitable trusts?

Do you want to make a difference for some of the most marginalised children and young people in the UK?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented team player to join our award-winning Fundraising team and help us to achieve our goals through generating income from small to medium-sized trusts. If you have excellent written, research and organisational skills and are looking for an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, challenging but exciting environment, this could be the opportunity for you. A track record in raising trust funds is desirable though not essential.

Some of the key duties for this role are outlined below:

  • To deliver an excellent experience for our current and prospective trusts and foundations supporters, including high quality written applications and personal contact.
  • Research potential new trusts and foundations to identify new income.
  • Work closely with the fundraising and services teams to develop new cases for support.
  • Create and maintain up to date donor records.

Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. We provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and influence policy. We exist to enable children and young people with autism to learn, thrive and achieve through providing specialist education. This is an exciting time to be joining our ambitious and experienced fundraising team. You will have the opportunity to develop your trust fundraising skills, securing funds to support our innovative and influential work.

If you are keen to find out more or would like to speak in more detail about the role, please do get in touch with Stephen Vickers  - Please note that the role may close before the advertised deadline.

Ambitious about Autism is fully committed to equality of opportunity and diversity and we warmly welcome applications from all suitably-qualified candidates.
