Job description

Overview

Youth Advantage UK is seeking 1–2 passionate and experienced leaders to step into the role of Leadership Coach. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of leadership within our organization by mentoring, coaching, and equipping supervisors and emerging leaders with the tools and confidence to lead effectively.

As an Internal Leadership Coach, you will work closely with HR and C-Level leadership to ensure that leadership development initiatives align with the strategic and operational needs of the organization. You’ll support leaders across departments through one-to-one coaching, group workshops, and the creation of practical leadership resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • One-to-One Coaching: Provide tailored coaching sessions to supervisors and team leads to support their leadership journey.
  • Workshop Delivery: Design and facilitate engaging leadership development workshops and training sessions.
  • Resource Development: Create and curate practical tools, templates, and guides to support effective people management.
  • Mentorship: Act as a sounding board and mentor for leaders navigating challenges or transitions.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with HR and C-Level leaders to identify leadership gaps, align development efforts with organizational goals, and support succession planning.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Promote and distribute relevant leadership articles, videos, and tools to inspire continuous learning.
  • Feedback & Evaluation: Gather feedback from participants and contribute to the ongoing improvement of leadership development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a supportive and empowering approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in facilitating training and leading group discussions.
  • High level of IT proficiency
  • A commitment to volunteerism and a passion for developing others.
  • Ability to commit to the role for at least 12 months ideally.
