Location: South London (Dulwich / Peckham) / Hybrid Remote
Commitment: 3–5 hours per week (Highly flexible around your career/life)
Role Type: Executive Volunteer Leadership / Portfolio Builder

🔥 THE MISSION: UNLEASH THE PANTHER REVOLUTION

Women’s football isn’t just growing—it is a cultural explosion, and Kenningwell United WFC is right at the epicenter. Competing fiercely in the Greater London Women’s Football League (Tier 7), ruthlessly expanding our youth footprint through the Junior Premier League, and working alongside icons like our Honours President—Chelsea pioneer Natasha Anne Randall—we aren't just running a club. We are building an empire.

Our bloodline is simple: Play with Heart. Win with Honor. We don't do mediocre. We are seeking an elite, strategically obsessed Assistant Director of Football to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our Director of Football. This is a high-octane, executive-level volunteer position designed for someone who wants to inject raw passion into our football philosophy, dominate squad progression, and carve their name into a lasting legacy for women and girls across South London.

🎯 YOUR ROLE: STRATEGISE, DOMINATE, AND DELIVER

As the Assistant Director of Football, you are the bridge between board-level strategy and absolute, pitch-side dominance. You will help weaponise the football infrastructure across our competitive First Team, development squads, and rising youth pipelines.

  • Command Technical Standards: Partner with the Director of Football to dissect team performance, instill elite athletic standards, and actively back our First Team Head Coach.
  • Unleash Elite Sports Science: Sync directly with our advanced medical and analytics teams—utilising bleeding-edge monitoring systems (like Kubios and Elite HRV)—to ensure our players peak safely and explosively.
  • Fuel the Youth Pipeline: Drive our strategic charge into the Junior Premier League (U12–U14), crafting a seamless, lethal pathway from youth grassroots straight to senior football.
  • Orchestrate Backroom Power: Work hand-in-hand with our coaching advisors, performance analysts, and scouts to hunt down new talent and onboard world-class backroom staff.
  • Protect the Culture: Guard and champion the club’s values fiercely—fostering diversity, equality, and mental resilience across every single squad.

🐈‍⬛ THE PROFILE WE WANT

  • A Pure Football Brain: A relentless understanding of modern football structures, player pathways, or sports management. Holding or working toward an FA / UEFA coaching or talent identification qualification is highly desirable.
  • An Inspiring Leader: Someone who commands respect, organises effortlessly, and seamlessly aligns coaches, players, and the executive board.
  • Data-Driven & Ambitious: Eager to manipulate and master modern sports analytics and video analysis frameworks used across the club.
  • Community Champion: Deeply passionate about grassroots sport, women’s empowerment, and lifting up the community of South London.
  • Safeguarding Aligned: Ready to clear an Enhanced DBS check (fully arranged and funded by the club).

🎁 THE PAYOFF

We know what executive expertise is worth. In exchange for your fire, time, and vision, we provide the ultimate springboard:

  • The Ultimate CV & Portfolio Boost: Total, unrestricted exposure to running a competitive club’s technical department—giving you massive, undeniable leverage for a career in professional football or sports business.
  • An Elite Network: Operate within a vibrant, professional environment collaborating with ex-pro players and elite-tier football networks.
  • Boardroom Endorsement: Earn a powerhouse, high-level professional recommendation from the Club Board to skyrocket your career goals.
  • Total Freedom: Shape your contributions entirely around your day job, studies, or personal life.
  • The Panther Brotherhood: A front-row seat to the fastest-growing movement in sport, surrounded by a warm, fiercely ambitious football family.

To Apply: Send a short, high-energy introduction outlining your football background, your alignment with our mission, or your sports CV directly to our recruitment team.

Kenningwell United WFC is an equal-opportunity club. We fiercely champion diversity and strongly encourage applications from women and underrepresented groups in football leadership.
