Focus of the role:

Lead the planning and delivery of an engaging programme of social events and activities throughout the year.
Key Actions:
-
Lead the planning and delivery of key formal events.
-
Support the planning and delivery of the 2027 London’s Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) campaign.

Lead a team to support delivery of the portfolio.
-
Create and control a budget for all social events and activities.
-
Liaise with the Marketing team to evaluate the effectiveness of the channels used to promote our events.
-
Manage content and promotion to unify all of the chamber’s initiatives.
-
Work with the Marketing Director to collate and advertise the chamber’s activities in monthly newsletters.
-
Provide advice to Directors on planning their own events.
-
Promote local, national and international JCI events.
-
Oversee regular social events for members, including booking venues, organising the programme, promoting events and hosting on the day.

Ensure events are managed using the Event Project File pack on the Drive, so that best practice is followed.

Recruit and manage Assistant Event Director to deliver the events together.
