Job description

Our Talk and Support team is setting up a weekly Monday morning group for people who are interested in art. In the role of facilitator, you will:

• Facilitate group discussion eg by sharing work in progress, exhibitions visited or interesting art discussions on podcasts;
• Help participants feel comfortable and able to join in group discussions;
• Look after participant welfare within the group and flag any welfare or safeguarding concerns with the Talk and Support team for follow up.

How often will I be needed?

  • 2 Hours per Week

  • This role is available on a Monday morning every week.

What skills and experience are needed?

  • Empathy with blind and partially sighted people. Good listening skills. Good verbal communication skills. An interest in art and all things related to art. Work with wide range of people An interest in researching art related subjects.
