Breck Foundation is a UK child online safety charity founded in 2014 in memory of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. Everything we do is driven by a simple but urgent mission: to prevent this from ever happening again.

Since our founding, we have reached more than 335,000 people in person or on video, including over 276,000 children and young people. Through our school programmes, professional training, parent engagement and policy advocacy, we work across whole communities to build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to keep children safe online.

We are now preparing to launch a new growth strategy, and this is a genuinely exciting moment to be joining us.

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional individual to serve as our new Chair of Trustees, following the stepping down of our current Chair after three years of dedicated service.

As Chair, you will lead the Board of Trustees and work in close partnership with the Chief Executive to provide strategic oversight and governance of the charity. You will play a central role in shaping and delivering our new growth strategy, helping us extend our reach, deepen our impact and grow our influence on the policy landscape.

This is a voluntary role with a time commitment of approximately 1 day per month, to cover quarterly Board meetings, sub-committee involvement, regular contact with the Chief Executive and occasional attendance at Foundation events.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an Events Assistant who can help us organise monthly community dinners featuring three course meals from around the globe to enable the charity to engage with and attract donors. We require help with running the dinner on the day with tasks including welcoming the guests, serving food and drinks, take payments, setting up and clearing, etc.

You will be working as part of a team to plan and organise other events and fundraisers throughout the year, for example refugee week. You will also be assisting with applying for funds for events including securing raffle prizes, donations of ingredients, material needed, musicians and entertainment, etc.

This role will also include working closely with our marketing team, providing details of upcoming events for promotion; taking pictures and quotes at the event.

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our Board of Trustees and provide strategic financial oversight to support the Trust’s long-term success and sustainability.

PACT (Parents and Children Together) has been building and strengthening families since 1911 through outstanding adoption services and specialist therapeutic and trauma informed support services across Reading, the Thames Valley, and southern England. As one of the UK’s leading voluntary adoption agencies, we place children with loving, permanent families (over 81 placements last year) and offer lifelong specialist support through services like our Strengthening Families Team, CATCH and Adopter Champions. Alongside our adoption service provision, we empower women facing multiple disadvantages through our Alana House women’s centre and help children and their non-abusing parents recover from trauma via our Bounce Back 4 Kids programme.

For the Violence Against Women and Girls Trustee role, we are looking for individuals with demonstrable experience of working in this sector, or in closely aligned areas (e.g. domestic abuse, sexual violence, women in the criminal justice system, safeguarding, trauma informed services). You will have a strong understanding of the policy, commissioning and funding landscape relating to this field.

Trustee Role Description

Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Caudwell Youth achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that we have a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the executive team to enable Caudwell Youth to grow and thrive, and through this, shape young people’s futures.

Board members have a collective responsibility. This means that trustees always act as a group and not as individuals.

Trustee Duties

• Support and provide advice on Caudwell Youth’s purpose, vision, goals and impact.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of Caudwell Youth, approving strategy and annual plans.
• Ensure that key risks are being identified, monitored and controlled effectively.
• Oversee financial plans and budgets and monitor and evaluate progress.
• Review and approve Caudwell Youth’s annual report and accounts.
• Provide support and challenge to the CEO and executive team, in accordance with our values.

Terms of Appointment

Terms of Office

• Trustees are appointed for a 3 year term of office, this can be renewed for a second term. (Maximum of 6 years service).
• This is a voluntary position, but reasonable expenses are reimbursed.
   

Time Commitment

• Preparing for, and attending, 4 Board meetings annually. Currently meetings are held 5.30-7.30pm online.
• A strategy day in person in London/Milton Keynes.
• Ad hoc and occasional support through working groups and / or support to the executive team.

Social Media/Marketing Manager

Challenge Adventure Group (“CAG” for short and the operating name of CAG Trust) is a voluntary youth organisation for Knowle, Dorridge and beyond aimed at boys aged 10 and above.

As our name suggests, we provide challenging, adventurous and fun activities and the D of E Award for young people in their leisure time. Taking part in fun experiential activities enables members to develop their physical and mental skills and capacities and reach their full potential of becoming positive, active and happy citizens.

Summary

CAG was formed in 2009 and became a charity, CAG Trust, in 2019. We are looking for someone to help us publicise CAG and what we do to build a consistent positive message about young people and Challenge Adventure Group and, ultimately, build a demand to be a part of CAG.

These messages and stories will be delivered through a variety of media.  Additionally, we want to engage our current and potential audiences by creating and developing a compelling social media strategy and content.  We want to get the CAG name and story out into the community to build long lasting and meaningful relationships with local organisations, community groups and other relevant parties and to establish CAG as a strong and vibrant participant of local life.

Description

We are looking for an experienced offline and online/social media marketer to work with us to maximise our presence in order to attract new members and volunteers and to advertise CAG to its full potential.

We would like you to:

• Develop and on and offline marketing strategy.
• Prepare and deliver on and offline marketing material and stories.
• Perform a social media audit: Assess the current state of our social media pages and make recommendations on how we might improve our presence and engagement and where we might focus our efforts.
• Help us develop and/or execute a social media campaign around, in the first instance, recruiting new members.
• Provide guidance/strategy on how we can manage our social media on an ongoing basis e.g. using a centralised tool, creating a content calendar, identifying easy and free graphic tools and images.
• Produce fresh and engaging content for our social media channels.
• Prepare graphics for sharing across channels.
• Engage with our followers and encourage interaction.
• Manage and maintain social media channels on a regular basis.
• Work with our Group Leader who will provide our existing brand/style guidelines and share the CAG ethos.

We are looking for a volunteer who has experience of:

• Writing and editing marketing content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok / across all platforms.
• Building strategies to increase social media following and build fundraising or awareness campaigns.
• Developing a coherent brand voice for social media, from content creation to community interactions.
• Using and setting up tools such as Hootsuite, Social Sprout, Canva, etc.
• Creating content calendars to help plan social media activity.
• Marketing specific events such as New Member Evenings and Duke of Edinburgh Introductory Presentations.

Ideally you should have/be:

• A flexible team player.
• A basic understanding of what CAG stands for and its place in the local community.
• A passion for the work of CAG and the importance of it to its members and volunteers.
• Experience of digital: social media marketing.
• Ability to engage and build a rapport with a wide range of people and organisations including local schools.
• Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
• A car driver or have ability to travel to attend events and meetings.
• The post holder must be able to provide a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Check, either a current or new application that can be made through CAG.

Making a difference - what impact will the opportunity have?

Your input is key to the running of CAG as well as securing its future.  You will shape how we present ourselves to our service users, stakeholders, funders and general public. With your help we will be able to continue to grow our membership through building campaigns to recruit new members who will be able to take advantage of all the challenging adventures we offer and help make the lives of these young people richer and more positive. You will build on the social media campaign we already have in place to help us raise awareness in the local community of what we do and why we do it and ensure that we become a key player in our community as a whole.

This role is partly remote but ideally the candidate should be available for face to face Committee meetings and attending CAG events and other meetings.

When will you be working?

• Flexible so during office hours if necessary for certain events but evenings if preferred.
• You would need to be available to attend Committee meetings which normally take place in the evening.
• Occasional weekends to attend recruitment/marketing events.

As a charity we can continue to help cats and kittens in need thanks to the donations we receive at fundraising events from generous members of the public. Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!

What we need from you

You’ll be:

· help set up and/or man stalls at events

· help on collection days like supermarket collections events or street collections

· help at fundraising events such as quiz nights, cake sales and dances

· promoting a professional image of Cats Protection at events

Time expectation

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.

We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.

MINDSET is a brand-new, grassroots, volunteer-led charity based in Ealing, West London. Our mission is to support the mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, and personal growth of local men and boys. Through positive role models, structured mentoring, and growth-mindset coaching, we aim to build a stronger, more supportive community from the ground up.

The Role:
To win local grants and attract volunteers, we need to look professional. We are looking for a creative Volunteer Graphic Designer to help us build our visual identity. You will create the assets that tell our story to local schools, funders, and families across Ealing.

We have a logo but need a positive vibrant masculine brand to go with it, that speaks to men and boys across West London and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design a simple, clean brand guidelines with brand colour palette.
• Create digital flyers and recruitment graphics to post on LinkedIn, social media and local community boards.
• Design a 1-page digital information leaflet for our upcoming pilot programme.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).
• A portfolio showing clean, accessible, and engaging visual layouts.
• Ability to take a simple brief and turn it into professional marketing materials.
