Homelessness volunteer roles

We are looking to build a team of film and videographer volunteers who will work on projects highlighting everyday life and stories of homeless and hardship in the UK. You will own the end to end process from defining the story, filming the content, editing and publishing. We are looking for volunteers with experience filming, editing and producing video content, whether professionally or as a hobby. We are open to people that can manage the process end to end, or bringing together a team of different skillsets. Volunteers would need to utilise their own video/camera equipment and editing software, and be able to volunteer in London where PINT primarily operates.

We are looking to create a team of fashion and clothing students (ideally final year) and/or people with knowledge, experience in and passion for fashion for an exciting project launching the new PINT fashion brand. We are looking for people across a range of disciplines including fashion design, marketing, social media and branding to help build a brand from scratch. It really is a blank canvas!

This is a unique project that will need a broad range of skills to deliver, so we are very open minded to volunteers that might be interested to get involved. We expect the following skills will be required - leadership/project management, fashion design, marketing, social media, logistics and branding. 

We are looking for a volunteer to support PINT in applying for grants on behalf of the charity, who will be responsible for identifying suitable grant opportunities, and managing the grant and fundraising application process from end to end. We are looking for someone who is computer literate, with strong written and verbal communication skills and good attention to detail. Ideally we would love to work with anyone who understands the charity sector and has some previous knowledge of grant writing/fundraising, but we are also very open to anyone who is willing to self teach about this area.

We are looking for a volunteer to help take PINT’s external brand to the next level – focusing on building the profile of PINT via media, TV and radio, with the ultimate aim of gaining more support for the charity and increasing our fundraising. We are looking for someone who has experience in public relations and external communications, with strong written and verbal communication skills, who is familiar with writing press releases and working across multiple media channels.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys storytelling, digital marketing, and community engagement. As a key member of a small team, you will lead our marketing and PR activity, helping us share our impact, promote our programmes, and grow our supporter base.

You will create engaging content, manage social media platforms, coordinate media outreach, and support the promotion of events and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver marketing campaigns to promote the charity’s services, events, and impact.
• Manage and grow the charity’s social media presence through engaging and regular content.
• Write press releases, stories, and communications that highlight the charity’s work.
• Build relationships with media outlets, partners, and community organisations.
• Support the promotion of fundraising campaigns and community events.
• Update website content and assist with digital marketing initiatives.
• Ensure consistent branding across all communications and materials.
• Create engaging flyers and publicity materials for our services and events that is consistent with our branding and ensuring our funders logos are prominently displayed

About You

We’re looking for someone who is creative, organised, and passionate about making a difference.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in marketing, communications, or PR.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms and digital content.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• A genuine interest in supporting women and promoting equality.

Experience in the non-profit/charity sector is helpful but not essential.

Volunteer Opportunity: Events Assistant

Role Overview:
As an Events Assistant, you will support the Events team with a variety of tasks before, during, and after events. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination and be part of delivering engaging and impactful activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and preparation of events

• Support event setup, registration, and coordination on the day

• Help manage materials, equipment, and event logistics
