Taking part in art-based activities increases our resilience and engages us in the here and now. You will be supporting people to express their emotions, provide a time for people to relax and feel proud of their final art products!

Voyage is led and governed by our committed, majority-diverse Board of Trustees, Youth Advisory Board, CEO and leadership team. Our organisation would not succeed without the dedication of our programme leaders and staff team. We have bold ambitions for Voyage, including completing our transition to Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) status and deepening our work across three pillars: Education, Access and Youth Voice. Our work and plans
Voyage has recently come through a very challenging two year period that has significantly impacted our ability to attract investment and grow and rebuild staff capacity. At the same time, the national rolling back of ESG, DEI and wider CSR agendas has reduced investment in the very communities and young people our work exists to support. Despite this, Voyage remains resilient and is committed to overcoming these challenges. We have developed a business-led approach that places our young people at the centre of reversing this trend demonstrating the essential role that diversity, youth leadership and social justice play in future-focused industries.
We support young people through accredited education offers leading to employment and industry accesswork and opportunities to highlight the voice of our young people. This pathway of empowerment can be seen in our longest-standing strand, rooted in our BTEC level II accredited Safer cities course designed to support young people who are at risk of being marginalized due to challenging behaviour, damaging relationships and poor engagement with school.
A major element of our renewed strategy is our focus on sustainability and climate justice. Our mission helps us connect our diversity agenda to these sectors that are currently under-represented yet abundant with opportunity. Voyage is therefore aligning youth leadership, diversity and green-skills development through:

Trustees provide oversight and scrutiny of Voyage’s management, operations and strategic direction, ensuring compliance with the Charity Commission and alignment with our mission, vision and values.

The Board
Trustees are appointed by the Nominations Committee with representation from the Youth Advisory Board. We are currently seeking at least two or more new Trustees to strengthen our Board and equip us for the opportunities and challenges ahead, including organisational growth, transformation to CIO status, programme development and national positioning. We are looking for people to act as advocates for Voyage, committed to our vision and mission. Prior trustee experience is not essential but can be very helpful.

Job Description
The Board meets 4–6 times a year for up to two hours, with an additional annual Away Day. Meetings are held both virtually and in person. We use an online portal to share papers and reports.
Trustees are expected to:
·prepare for and attend meetings
·contribute actively to discussions
·attend up to two events per year
The time commitment is approximately one day per month on average, occasionally higher at key points in the year.
Each Trustee will hold a specific remit or portfolio area aligned to their expertise and will keep the Board informed about developments and opportunities within that area.
Remuneration
Trustee roles are unremunerated; however, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. If finances present a barrier to participation, please discuss this with us.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide (SoBS) is the leading charity providing peer-to-peer support for adults who have been bereaved or impacted by suicide. We believe that no one should face their loss alone, so we create safe spaces across the UK for people to share and process their grief.
We are seeking compassionate volunteers looking to start up a new peer support group in Aberystwyth.
Who are we looking for?
- Over the age of 18.
- Bereaved by suicide over 18 months ago and confident in your own progress. The impacts of a death by suicide are far-reaching - this could have been a family member, friend, colleague, client, or even a stranger.
- Passionate about supporting others in your community.
- Friendly, trustworthy, and approachable, with good active listening skills.
- Respectful, sensitive, and non-judgmental approach to survivors.
- Comfortable in supporting conversations and managing group dynamics.
- Good communication skills – both spoken & written English.
- A commitment to support the group, your team, and the surrounding community.
How do groups work?
Each group is facilitated by a team of three volunteers who have all been bereaved by suicide themselves. Their role is facilitating meetings, group administration, fundraising and communication for the group as a team. All volunteers are provided with full training before they begin the role and receive support from head office throughout their volunteering journey.
SoBS groups usually meet once a month for around 2 hours, and provide people with an opportunity to listen, share, ask questions, and connect with others in a safe and non-judgemental space.
There is no set structure to a meeting – people are free to talk and listen as much or as little as they want. Topics discussed vary from month to month but often include people sharing their story, how they are feeling, what has happened since their last group visit, questions about coroners and discussions about common challenges such as flashbacks, supporting children or facing neighbours. Established groups may occasionally organise guest speakers, go on walks, or arrange craft workshops.
What will you do?
- Facilitate group sessions – meeting survivors, starting off conversations, allowing space for people to talk (if they want to), and looking out for others.
- Administration & communication – managing enquiries from survivors, providing information and signposting where needed, submitting information to the national office.
- Provide signposting to head office, as well as other local charities and services.

Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C. is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to join our founding volunteer team. This role is central to designing, structuring and delivering educational programmes that support survivors, young people and marginalised communities to access knowledge, develop skills and achieve personal and collective growth.
Purpose of the role:
The Volunteer Instructional Designer supports our mission by designing engaging, effective and learner-centred educational materials. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts, program staff and other volunteers to transform ideas and content into structured learning experiences that are accessible, inclusive and impactful.
About the Role:
As Instructional Designer, you will work closely with the Membership Director, Book Club Coordinator, and Social & Digital Media Education Lead to develop structured learning pathways, modules, and resources for our membership programmes. Your work will ensure that all learning experiences are engaging, accessible, and aligned with our anti-capitalist, community-driven, and survivor-centred mission. This is a hands-on, impactful role combining strategy, creativity, and operational delivery.
Experience Qualification and Requirements
Essential Technical Competencies:
- Experience in instructional design, curriculum development or educational programme creation in formal or informal learning environments.
- Proven experience designing and delivering community-based education, training or learning programmes.

This is a callout for an honorary co-facilitator to work 1 day a week in CNWL NHS Trust’s Arts in Health team.
Arts in Health (AiH) is a step-down service for CNWL adult patients who have accessed secondary mental health services, such as the Community Mental Health Hubs (CMHHs), who are looking for creativity and further support after moving on from treatment. AiH participants often have complex emotional needs (CEN), may have experienced trauma or have a diagnosis such as schizophrenia, personality disorder or severe anxiety/depression.
We run a weekly art studio and organise monthly visits to museums and galleries. Our service is non-clinical and sits under the umbrella of creative health, using art for wellbeing. We also organise outreach visits, where we invite select community organisations to visit our studio to share more about their services, acting as a bridging service between CNWL and the community. We have ongoing partnerships with Mind, Westminster Adult Education Service and Community Living Well.
Our aim is to provide participants with a safe space to explore creativity, build confidence, reduce anxiety, promote independence and improve holistic wellness. Who do we work with?
Participants referred to Arts in Health may feel too anxious to join a regular community group, may not feel as stable as they would like to, or may find it difficult to get out and about. Many have arts backgrounds and feel reassured by attending sessions led by CNWL staff with mental health experience. Some participants may have additional needs including access needs, neurodiversity or English as a second language.
Our aim is that participants build confidence and independence, enabling them to broaden their horizons and engage with their local arts and community offers to support ongoing wellbeing.

What does the work involve?
We are seeking a co-facilitator to support our weekly sessions, 1 day per week on Thursdays. Currently, our schedule includes three consecutive weeks of art studio sessions and one week of cultural visits, all on Thursdays.
For those interested in office-based tasks only, there is the option to contribute on Mondays, supporting research, communications, and administrative work.
The team works both from home and on-site. On non-delivery days, remote tasks include participatory engagement aligned with your skills and interests, such as enhancing co-production and service user involvement, supporting evaluation and learning, and designing content for facilitation, alongside learning about the administration and internal processes needed to run such a service.
As a valued member of the team, you will benefit from monthly team supervision with an external psychotherapist, access to NHS training, and other CNWL staff benefits.

Our Second Home is a youth movement that empowers migrants and refugees to flourish in the place that they call home. Our overnight activity camp for young people aged 14-18 is a chance for young people to come together and have five days of fun and excitement, supported by a dynamic and dedicated team of leaders and staff.
An OSH Leader is a supportive adult, a role model, and someone young people can feel safe being themselves around. It’s about creating a warm, fun, and consistent presence during residentials — helping young people with refugee and migrant backgrounds feel welcomed, included, and at home.
Youth Leaders for this project will be responsible for facilitating the camp, and will be directly in contact with, and responsible for, the participants. During the camp they will be ‘on duty’ full-time, meaning that they will spend the whole time with the participants, including at meals.
THIS ROLE IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN THE UK. We will arrange Zoom interviews with applicants separately.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting and forming a bond with the participants
- Creating and running fun and engaging activities for the participants
- Looking after the participants’ welfare, and ensuring that they feel cared for and secure
- Managing the participants’ behaviour and setting clear boundaries
Expectations and requirements:

- Youth Leaders must set a positive example of behaviour and involvement for all participants, and adhere to the volunteer guidelines.
- Youth Leaders may be required to prepare activities for participants at the camp. If asked, this must be completed in plenty of time to allow any materials or equipment to be sourced.
- Applicants should be aged 20 or above.
- Applicants must be eligible for DBS clearance (no criminal record that prevents applicants from working with children)
- Youth Leaders must raise any safeguarding concerns swiftly and follow safeguarding procedures
- Youth Leaders must follow all Our Second Home policies and procedures of (which will be explained at the Camp training days).
- Anyone attending an OSH residential must test negative for COVID-19 prior to attending the programme, regardless of whether they have received a vaccine or not.

Youth Leaders will be supported by the Welfare Support Lead(s), who will be their main contact in the build to and throughout the camp. The Welfare Support Lead(s) will run team meetings at the end of each day and be on hand to advise and manage the Youth Leaders.

About the Role
The ePDP Programme Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the Enhanced Professional Development Programme (ePDP) and managing the ePDP Liaison. As an Ice-Skating Support Volunteer, you’ll be joining our Sense Active team, supporting Sense’s Activity Facilitator, alongside another volunteer, with the delivery of weekly ice-skating sessions for disabled people with complex needs and their carers. With over 25 years’ experience, our facilitators deliver safe, enjoyable and inclusive ice-skating sessions. You’ll play an important part in supporting disabled participants and carers to develop their independence and confidence, socialise with others, and have a thrilling experience!
A DBS check will be needed due to the setting and the likelihood of regular contact with people we support. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through this process.
Key responsibilities:
You’ll spend time supporting a range of activities, including:

As Clinical Lead, you will provide professional oversight, guidance, and liaison for all cultural and emotional therapy initiatives within the organisation. You will work closely with membership, engagement, and programme teams to ensure services are trauma-informed, culturally competent, and responsive to the needs of survivors, young people, and marginalised communities. This role blends strategic leadership, operational management, and community-facing support to build safe, transformative, and accessible therapy systems.

The Stuart Low Trust are thrilled to invite you to volunteer to support our Spring Term (April-June 2026) programme of Arts, Nature and Wellbeing activities, which operate across Islington and London!
Rooted in the Islington community and founded in memory of Stuart Low, who sadly took his own life in 1997, we work to ensure no one faces mental health challenges alone or without support.
We collaborate with facilitators, with assistance from volunteers, to provide our Arts, Nature, and Wellbeing programmes for people living with, or recovering from, mental health issues. Running during working hours as well as evenings and weekends, our group activities are inclusive, social, and creative – grounded in the belief that offering shared experiences can be transformative in helping to build connection, challenge stigma, and improve wellbeing.
Who Can Volunteer?
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, lived experiences, and abilities, aged 18 and over, who are passionate about supporting people experiencing social isolation and/or mental health issues. No prior qualifications or experience is needed. Ideal volunteers are empathetic, sensitive to diverse needs, confident in group settings, and able to remain calm, adaptable, and professional. Whatever your interests or experience, there’s a place for you on our team.
