Volunteer Opportunity: Events Organiser

Are you creative, organised, and passionate about bringing people together? We’re looking for a dedicated Volunteer Events Organiser to help plan and deliver engaging events that support our mission and connect our community.

Role Overview:
As a Volunteer Events Organiser, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing a variety of events, from small community gatherings to larger fundraising or awareness campaigns. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, develop valuable skills, and make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise, and coordinate events from concept to completion

  • Liaise with team members, vendors, and external partners

  • Manage event logistics such as venues, schedules, and materials

  • Promote events through social media and other channels

  • Support on-the-day event setup, coordination, and breakdown

  • Monitor budgets and track event performance where applicable

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

  • Creativity and problem-solving mindset

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Basic knowledge of social media or event promotion (preferred but not essential)
