Becky’s Child Foundation is a dynamic non-profit organization  in Uganda committed to uplifting vulnerable communities across society. We work with children, women, youth, families, and marginalized groups through education, healthcare, livelihood support, protection services, and community empowerment programs. Our mission is to create lasting impact by restoring hope, dignity, and opportunities to those who need it most.

Role Overview

We are seeking a creative, passionate, and digitally savvy Social Media Volunteer to amplify our voice online. You will help tell powerful stories, build meaningful connections with supporters, and drive engagement that translates into real-world impact for vulnerable communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engaging content (images, reels, carousels, stories, and short videos) across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
• Grow our online presence, increase followers, and boost community engagement.
• Create monthly content calendars aligned with our programs and fundraising campaigns.
• Identify trending topics and opportunities to raise awareness about vulnerable groups.
• Collaborate with the team to produce authentic, impactful storytelling content (with full consent and safeguarding standards).
• Monitor performance analytics and provide simple monthly reports.
• Support fundraising drives and donor engagement initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

• Deep passion for social impact and supporting vulnerable communities.
• Proven experience or strong skills in social media management and content creation.
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage).
• Proficiency with content tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar apps.
• Self-motivated, creative, and able to deliver consistently with minimal supervision.
• Understanding of social media best practices, algorithms, and analytics.

Your Professional Backroom Team 📋

At most grassroots clubs, the coach has to do everything from pumping balls to managing injuries. Not here. You will lead a fully functional, professional-grade multidisciplinary backroom team dedicated entirely to supporting your tactical vision:

• Video Analyst: Records and analyses matches, offering feedback to you and your players to sharpen tactics and performance.
• Strength & Conditioning Coach: Designs fitness programs to enhance player strength, stamina, and reduce injury risks.
• Sports Therapist: Manages injury recovery, provides treatments, and ensures peak physical health all season.
• Sports Psychologist: Supports mental well-being, building resilience and focus to optimize performance on and off the pitch.
• Journalist, Photographer & Social Media Team: Captures key moments, writes match reports, and runs high-impact marketing campaigns to boost club visibility and build your personal profile as a manager.

Your Mission on the Pitch:

• Ignite the First Team: Deliver electric, high-tempo training sessions that make players sprint to training after work.
• Own Matchday: Bring your tactical absolute best to the touchline. Inspire, adjust, integrate loan players seamlessly, and drive the squad to win.
• Weaponise Data: Collaborate with your S&C coach and backroom staff to integrate HRV data, pro-level biometrics, and video analysis into your tactical blueprint.
• Protect the Culture: Build a fierce, loyal, inclusive family where every player feels valued, respected, and ready to fight for the badge.

• You hold a UEFA C Diploma (minimum) or higher.
• You don't just manage players; you inspire them. You speak with clarity, passion, and empathy.

The National Flood Forum (NFF) supports and empowers people and communities at risk of flooding and helps those who flood to recover from the material and emotional trauma that flooding causes. With 24 years on the ground experience, we are the only national charity dedicated to supporting flood risk communities.

At the NFF, we give emotional and practical help and creating the right package of support for the long-term. Flooding can be a devastating experience with lasting economic, practical and emotional consequences and for many people the recovery process is as traumatic, or even more stressful, than the flood itself.

We pride ourselves on being there at every stage of the flood recovery process, working hand in hand with the people and communities we help. We also provide a powerful and independent voice for these communities, advocating for them with local and national government as well as the insurance industry and other corporate sectors.

We are seeking new Trustees to bring new insights, experience and skills to our Board. As a Trustee, you’ll help ensure the financial sustainability and governance of NFF.

As a Trustee you will have a commitment to supporting our values and approach to supporting communities at risk or who have flooded and you will advocate and be an ambassador for our work.

We’re especially interested in applications from you if you have:

· Experienced flooding or live with the threat of flooding.

· Fundraising, marketing or communications skills or experience

We particularly welcome applications from women, people from ethnic minority backgrounds, and residents of the North of England, East Anglia, or Wales, who are currently under-represented on our Board.

Dignity Freedom Network (DFN) works in cities and in rural villages across India. We champion those society sidelines including those from low caste and tribal backgrounds.  Could you help secure funding from grant makers for our education, health and protection programmes?

What will you be doing?

You will support DFN’s fundraising team by helping to identify new opportunities, strengthen relationships with supporters, and contribute to the development of funding opportunities that enable our work to grow.

This role will involve using your writing and research skills to support a range of activities, working closely with the team to help increase DFN’s fundraising capacity and impact. The role is remote, with regular opportunities to connect with the fundraising team and learn more about DFN’s work. You will need access to a computer and the internet.

Dignity Freedom Network (DFN) is active across India. We work in large cities and in rural villages, with young children and new mums, with women who have experienced exploitation, and families facing discrimination and prejudice. We work to champion those society sidelines including those from low caste and tribal backgrounds.

Indian colleagues and volunteers deliver impactful education, health, protection and vocational skills programmes - the ladder needed by those we seek to help to overcome the barriers they face.

The difference you will make to cats and people

As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising events organisers have the exciting and varied role of helping plan and deliver local fundraising events to raise the vital funds needed to help cats. Our fundraising events organisers use their passion for cats and people to plan cake sales, barn dances, quiz nights and everything in between.

What we need from you

You'll be:

• planning fundraising events and activities like cake sales, quiz nights and barn dances
• providing the treasurer with information on funds raised from fundraising events
• encouraging and promoting a professional image of Cats Protection 
• following policies and guidelines and ensuring licences and permits are obtained for events

Time expectation

Our fundraising events organisers usually spend two to three hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer.
