Join Vault Youth Zone as a Volunteer Youth Worker and help create a fun, welcoming, and engaging space for young people aged 8–19 (up to 25 for young people with additional needs). Volunteers support the Recreation & Engagement team in delivering activities such as pool, table tennis, board games, challenges, group discussions, themed projects, and social activities.

As a volunteer, you will help young people build confidence, make friends, develop new skills, and feel part of a positive community. You will encourage participation, promote our values, and act as a positive role model while working alongside our team of youth workers.

No previous youth work experience is required. Ongoing support and training will be provided.

AIMS is in urgent need of funding—both short and long term—to support our volunteers to keep delivering all the wonderful work they do. We need people to help us:

• Draft applications for grants from charitable trusts and other funding organisations

• Organise crowdfunding and match funding campaigns including the Big Give

Membership subscriptions are a vital source of funding for our charity. We need a volunteer to:

• Maintain membership records and records of payments

• Respond to members’ queries

• Send renewal reminders

• Provide regular updates of new and lapsed members, and changes of email address

Use your design and social media skills to help AIMS.

We need volunteers to help us increase our social media presence and reach by:

• Designing engaging images & reels in Canva to highlight the work of AIMS and current maternity issues.

• Scheduling regular social media posts across our platforms using Canva

• Advising other teams on how to use social media to promote their work

We will provide support and training as needed.
