Join our Tower Hamlets Reset Recovery Team as a Volunteer! 

Do you enjoy helping people and making others feel at ease? As a Meet & Greet Volunteer, you'll be the first point of contact for people accessing our services. You'll help create a warm, welcoming environment, provide practical support, and play an important role in helping people feel comfortable as they begin their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Welcome visitors and provide a friendly first impression.
  • Support reception with enquiries and appointments.
  • Help service users complete registration paperwork.
  • Signpost people to support services and community resources.
  • Assist with telephone calls relating to housing, benefits, and other needs.
  • Issue food parcels and vouchers where appropriate.
  • Help keep reception and client areas tidy and welcoming.
  • Promote recovery, involvement, and positive engagement.

This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of volunteering within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
