Volunteer Opportunity: Events Manager

Are you a natural leader with a passion for planning and delivering impactful events? We’re seeking a motivated Volunteer Events Manager to oversee and drive the success of our events programme.

Role Overview:
As a Volunteer Events Manager, you will take a lead role in managing the planning, coordination, and execution of events. You’ll work closely with a team of volunteers and stakeholders to ensure events run smoothly, meet objectives, and create a positive experience for all involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of events from concept through to evaluation

  • Manage and support a team of volunteer events organisers

  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and action plans

  • Oversee logistics including venues, suppliers, and resources

  • Ensure events align with organisational goals and standards

  • Monitor performance and gather feedback to improve future events

  • Act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders and partners

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities

  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Experience in event planning or coordination (preferred)

  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused approach
