Job description

Are you the person who takes pride in perfectly wrapped gifts and beautifully presented parcels? If so, we have the ideal volunteer role for you!

Our online sales team sells a fascinating range of donated items, from jewellery and artwork to antiques, collectables, clothing and footwear. Once these items have found their new homes, we need dedicated volunteers to ensure they are carefully packed and dispatched to customers around the world.

As a Professional Parcel Packer Volunteer, you will:

Pick sold items ready for dispatch using an ipad. Carefully wrap and package orders to ensure they arrive safely. Select appropriate packaging materials for different items. Label parcels and prepare them for collection by couriers. Help maintain our excellent customer experience and positive feedback record.

What we're looking for:

Excellent attention to detail. Pride in presenting parcels to a professional standard. Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently. A reliable and conscientious approach. A willingness to learn and be part of a friendly team.

Every parcel you pack helps generate vital income for hospice care, ensuring our supporters receive their purchases safely while helping us make a real difference in our community. Whether you're looking to develop new skills, meet new people, or give back, we'd love to welcome you to the team.

Please note you must be over 18 to apply for this role.
