Steering Committee Member

Volunteer Kind CIC is looking for volunteers to join our Steering Committee and help shape our development. We are a new organisation focused on supporting volunteers, making volunteering more accessible and strengthening connections between volunteers and organisations.

What will you be doing?

As a Steering Committee Member, you will:

• Attend and actively contribute to Steering Committee meetings.
• Help shape Volunteer Kind CIC's strategy, priorities and future direction.
• Contribute ideas to the development of new projects and services.
• Help us review progress against our objectives and identify where we can improve.
• Support good governance, accountability and effective decision-making.
• Bring constructive challenge and different perspectives to discussions.
• Help identify opportunities for partnerships and collaboration.
• Act as an ambassador for Volunteer Kind CIC and help raise awareness of our work.

What are we looking for?

We are particularly interested in people who:

• Have an interest in volunteering, communities and creating positive social impact.
• Can think strategically while also contributing practical ideas.
• Are comfortable sharing their views and listening to different perspectives.
• Enjoy working collaboratively with others.
• Are reliable and willing to contribute to the development of a growing organisation.

We are looking for people with previous leadership, governance or committee experience. We would also welcome people with different professional, voluntary and lived experiences who can bring fresh perspectives to our discussions.
