OVERVIEW
Ditch the Label is a global young people’s organisation that helps young people thrive in an increasingly complex digital world.
We combine research, education and direct support to ensure young people are able to navigate the digital world safely and confidently. We work alongside young people giving them opportunities to take the lead on issues that matter to them, including identifying the challenges we address and helping to shape the solutions.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the governance of an organisation at an inflection point. We have strong funder relationships, an ambitious international growth plan, and a mission that has never mattered more. Every day, millions of young people navigate online bullying, harassment and digital harm. Ditch the Label exists to change that.
WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
1. RESEARCH - We generate high-quality, youth-led insights to better understand the issues shaping young people’s lives. Our reports inform our programmes and policy work to ensure they are evidence-based and effective.
2. EDUCATION - We work with educators and young people to promote positive online practice, and provide solutions when challenges arise. We deliver this through our school membership programme of training, resources and support
3. SUPPORT - We provide free, confidential support to young people through online communities, one-to-one mentoring and therapeutic services. Delivered by our team of psychologists, counsellors and psychotherapists, our support helps young people feel seen, heard, overcome challenges and access the tools they need to thrive
TIME COMMITMENT
Approximately two days per month, including quarterly board meetings, catch ups with the CEO every two weeks, and occasional representation of the charity externally.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead the board in overseeing strategy, financial sustainability and risk, while giving the executive team room to execute
Champion good governance without stifling pace, helping Ditch the Label move fast and responsibly as it grows
Represent Ditch the Label to funders, partners and stakeholders, opening doors as the organisation expands into new markets
Support recruitment and development of a high-calibre, diverse board
Ensure the voice of young people remains central to every governance decision
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience at Senior leadership or board-level, ideally including chairing or co-chairing a board
A genuine passion for young people's safety, wellbeing or digital rights
Comfort with ambiguity and pace; we are a growing organisation
Confidence to challenge constructively and hold the executive to account, paired with the generosity to support them
Experience of international or multi-market growth is a strong plus
Please send an initial expression of interest setting out what you would bring the Ditch the Label, along with your CV.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Ditch the Label is committed to equality of opportunity and building a team and trustee board that reflects the diversity of the people we serve. We actively welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, including those with lived experience of online harms, bullying, mental health or any of the issues central to our work.

Inshira Technologies LTD.
We help small manufacturers reduce waste, energy losses, and emissions using their existing operational data.
We are a UK startup building the intelligence layer for manufacturing. Our AI platform uses the production data SME manufacturers already have to show exactly where time, cost, materials and energy are being lost - no new sensors, no six-month IT project, results in weeks. Every factory we win takes real waste and energy out of a production line, which is the change we are here to make.
Why we need you
We know who we are selling to: SME manufacturers across the UK and Europe, and the operations managers, production directors and owners inside them. What we do not have is an experienced B2B seller to get us in front of them and convert interest into signed pilots. That is where you come in - hands on, alongside the founder.
What you will do
Deliverables
These are scoped to fit roughly 16-24 hours in total, so they are deliberately tight rather than sprawling.
Who we are looking for
Nice to have
Time commitment and working style
2-3 hours per week for 1-2 months, fully remote and flexible. We keep it to one 30-minute sync per week plus async messages, so your time goes into selling rather than meetings. We are UK based (GMT/BST) but will work around your schedule.
Your impact
You will help a small climate-and-efficiency startup land its first paying manufacturing pilots, and walk away with a clear, attributable story of having built a B2B sales motion from close to zero.
Minimum Hours per Week:
2-3 hours per week
Duration:
1-2 months
We connect professionals with impact startups matching their causes, skills & schedule.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

The Unseen Barriers Foundation is looking for new Board Trustee's.
We are a new, disabled-led Scottish charity (status pending) tackling the invisible causes of exclusion. Shame, sensory overload, emotional exhaustion, disbelief. These are the things that stop people from showing up — to appointments, to events, to life.
The Foundation is built around two original lived experience contributions by our founder:
The Unseen Barriers Framework — a landmark conceptual model naming the distress-based barriers that keep disabled people locked out of support
Cùran — a green plush dragon created as a visual anchor for distress, shutdown, and solidarity
Both are licensed to the Foundation by the creator to ensure they serve a purpose-first, rights-based mission.
We are now looking for trustees to help shape this work from the ground up. This is a working board — not a figurehead role. Trustees will actively contribute to strategic direction, governance, and growth.
We are currently remote-first to ensure full accessibility, but will provide office space (Edinburgh/Glasgow area) once funded. You do not need to be based in either city.
Estimated time commitment:
Around 6–8 hours per month including preparation, meetings, and task-based input
Board meetings held every 6–8 weeks via Zoom
All access needs will be fully accommodated
We are especially keen to hear from:
Disabled people and unpaid carers
People with lived experience of distress, neurodivergence, or poverty
Individuals with skills in finance, charity governance, fundraising, legal oversight, or communications
If you believe in radical inclusion, and want to join something disruptive but grounded, get in touch.
We believe in finding the right people, not just filling seats. Informal conversations will take place on a rolling basis, and trustees will be appointed as and when suitable candidates are identified. Early expressions of interest are encouraged.
We exist to make the invisible visible. To name what others overlook. Ensuring disabled people are not just accommodated, but understood and supported
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

Earth Stewards Travel Club | an Ecosy Travel initiative
We help travellers and accommodations plan, share, and transparently report low‑carbon flight‑free holidays.
Earth Stewards Travel Club is a grassroots climate action community for travellers and tourism professionals who believe exploring the world and protecting it go hand in hand. We organise guided events across London combining sightseeing with environmental action: canal clean-ups, forest garden volunteering, citizen science, wild swims, wetland walks, and more, and we're building a network of volunteer destination leaders to take the model to locations around the world.
We're a certified B Corp and registered social enterprise at an early and exciting stage. We've run our first trial event in London and are working on building the community before we scale. This is an opportunity to shape how an emerging climate action community delivers impact.

You'll identify, approach, and develop relationships with hotels, hostels, and visitor accommodation in London, as well as tourism organisations, sustainable travel communities, and visitor-facing platforms whose audiences overlap with ours.
This is fundamentally a business development and relationship management role. You'll be representing Earth Stewards Travel Club externally, opening doors, and building the network of partners who help us grow without paid advertising.
This role suits someone with a background or interest in sales, business development, tourism, hospitality, or partnership management, and who wants to apply those skills to a purpose-driven business.
