Action Hero Wanted: Lead Our Life-Changing Projects!
The Volunteer Role: Projects Manager / Launch Commander (Volunteer Role)
We’ve got the mission. We’ve got the ideas. Now we need the person who turns 'maybe' into 'DONE!'
MINDSET Charity is all about giving men aged 16-50 the safe spaces, tools, and real talk they need for better mental health and self-improvement. We have a pipeline of powerful projects (workshops, activity groups, online resources) ready to go, and we need a Projects Manager to take the reins and drive them from concept to launch.
The Task: Making Stuff Happen (Efficiently!)
This is the central engine room of our charity. You won't just be managing spreadsheets; you’ll be managing the initiatives that directly provide support and change lives.
Here’s what you’ll be crushing:
-
Launch Command: Taking the lead on our initial projects—defining the scope, setting clear milestones, and making sure everyone knows what needs to happen and when.
-
Team Coordination: Working with our volunteers (coaches, group leaders, admin support) to keep projects running smoothly, on budget, and on brand.
-
Risk Mitigation: Identifying potential roadblocks and finding smart, practical ways to get around them, keeping the vibe positive the whole time.
-
Quality Control: Ensuring that every single project we deliver (from a weekly walking group to a specialist workshop series) hits our high bar for support and positive impact.
Are You the One? (The Skill Check)
You don't need a PMP certification pinned to your wall, but you must have real-world experience getting complex things done.
-
Organisation Obsessed: You love structure, clear communication, and seeing a plan executed perfectly.
-
Natural Leader: You're brilliant at motivating and coordinating people (volunteers) to work toward a common goal without needing a big corporate hierarchy.
-
Adaptable & Practical: You know things rarely go 100% to plan and are great at finding practical, quick solutions.
-
Mission Driven: You genuinely believe in our mission and want to be a central figure in delivering support to men in need.
Why Volunteer Your PM Superpower with MINDSET?
-
Direct Impact: Your organisation skills will translate directly into support groups starting, resources being launched, and men receiving vital help.
-
High Visibility: You are running the core business of the charity. You'll work closely with the Founder/Trustees and gain serious, transferable leadership experience.
-
Positive Energy: Work with a team driven by passion, positivity, and a commitment to real-world change.
