ASN Helpline Volunteer

We’re looking for unequivocally pro-abortion volunteers to continue to power our helpline. We are particularly interested in applications from both Polish and German speakers.  

Please be aware that it is not possible to volunteer from Malta or Poland due to the abortion laws in these countries 

Location: Virtual / Remote  
Commitment: 1 Monday-Saturday shift every 6 weeks, 2 hours per day 
Mandatory Training Dates: Sat 11 July and Sat 18 July, 10am-4pm UK time/11:00-17:00 CET; Tue 14 July OR Thu 16 July, 6-8pm UK time/19:00-21:00 CET; and Tues 21 July OR Thu 23 July, 6-8pm UK time/19:00-21:00 CET (via Zoom).  

We believe that supporting someone to arrange an abortion is an act of radical solidarity, and we’re looking for people who can work collaboratively and empathically with abortion seekers all over Europe 

As a Helpline Volunteer, you’ll:  

• Provide deep care to abortion seekers by centring compassion and empathy  
• Provide invaluable practical support to those forced to travel for an abortion  
• Support people via phone and email  

You’ll gain valuable skills in teamwork, working with abortion seekers across the EU, empathy and problem solving.
