What you'll do
You’ll work with our trustees to help coordinate and guide our environmental activity across the canal corridor — making sure nature is protected, green spaces are enhanced, and sustainability is built into everything we do.
This could include:

Helping shape biodiversity and nature‑recovery plans

Advising on habitat creation and wildlife protection

Supporting environmental compliance and good practice

Bringing an environmental perspective to project planning and volunteer activity

Working with volunteers, partners and local groups to support environmental improvements
What you’ll bring

Interest in nature, biodiversity or sustainability

Confidence to ask questions and share ideas

Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Environmental knowledge or experience (helpful but not essential)
Please note - you must live in the local area to carry out this role.
