Job description

What you'll do

You’ll work with our trustees to help coordinate and guide our environmental activity across the canal corridor — making sure nature is protected, green spaces are enhanced, and sustainability is built into everything we do.

This could include:

  • Helping shape biodiversity and nature‑recovery plans

  • Advising on habitat creation and wildlife protection

  • Supporting environmental compliance and good practice

  • Bringing an environmental perspective to project planning and volunteer activity

  • Working with volunteers, partners and local groups to support environmental improvements

 

What you’ll bring

  • Interest in nature, biodiversity or sustainability

  • Confidence to ask questions and share ideas

  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

  • Environmental knowledge or experience (helpful but not essential)

 

Please note - you must live in the local area to carry out this role.
