Job description

Create bold, powerful visuals that help a national men’s wellbeing movement get seen, recognised, and remembered

MINDSET is building a new kind of men’s wellbeing charity — one that speaks the language men actually respond to: action, challenge, humour, and real‑world connection. To grow our movement and reach men across the UK, we need strong, distinctive visual design that cuts through the noise.

We’re looking for a creative, reliable volunteer Graphic Designer to help us bring our brand to life across digital and print. From posters and roller banners to social media graphics and campaign materials, your work will help shape how the nation sees us.

What This Role Is About

You’ll be the visual storyteller of MINDSET — turning ideas, messages, and programmes into designs that feel bold, modern, and unmistakably “us.” Your work will help us recruit volunteers, reach men who need support, and build a recognisable national presence.

This role is perfect for someone who loves design, wants to build a portfolio with meaningful work, and enjoys being part of a mission‑driven team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create Digital & Print Assets

  • Posters, flyers, and promotional materials

  • Roller banners and event signage

  • Social media graphics, templates, and campaign visuals

  • Presentation decks, infographics, and branded documents

2. Develop & Maintain Brand Consistency

  • Ensure all designs reflect our tone: bold, action‑driven, stigma‑free

  • Help refine and evolve our visual identity as we grow

  • Maintain brand guidelines and asset libraries

3. Support Campaigns & Programmes

  • Design materials for our 12‑week Self‑Improvement Programme

  • Create visuals for volunteer recruitment and public awareness

  • Support marketing, communications, and programme teams with design needs

4. Collaborate with the Team

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications

  • Translate ideas and messages into clear, compelling visuals

  • Provide creative input on campaigns and brand direction

Who This Role Is Perfect For

Someone who is:

  • Skilled in graphic design (Adobe, Canva, Affinity, or similar)

  • Creative, bold, and confident in visual storytelling

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple design requests

  • Excited by building a brand from scratch

  • Passionate about men’s wellbeing and social impact

  • Happy to collaborate with a friendly, purpose‑driven team

What You’ll Get Out of This

  • A chance to shape the visual identity of a national movement

  • A portfolio filled with meaningful, high‑impact work

  • Creative freedom within a clear, exciting mission

  • A supportive team that values humour, humanity, and purpose

  • The satisfaction of knowing your designs are helping men across the UK

Ready to Bring MINDSET to Life Visually?

If you want to help build a bold, recognisable brand that inspires men to grow, connect, and thrive, we’d love to hear from you.
