ROLE PURPOSE

Volunteer - Qualified Counsellors

Off The Record is an independent charity based in the Havant Borough area and has been supporting young people and their families in South East Hampshire since 1977. Young people are at the heart of what we do, and we aim to support the emotional health and wellbeing of our community's young people through one-to-one counselling, information and support, and group work for 11-25 year old's and their families.

We are growing in demand and are seeking volunteer qualified counsellors to provide support to our young people across a blend of online telephone and face to face services, with face-to-face offerings for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. You may be in private practice, have experience of working with young people and looking to gain more skills in this rewarding remit of client work.

You will receive supervision and a varied and free annual program of CPD. You will feel supported by a committed and engaged team of staff and volunteer support workers, in our centre based in the heart of Leigh Park.

We would love to hear from you if you;

· Are qualified to a minimum of Level 5 Diploma

· Can commit to weekly counselling slots of 2-3 hours and monthly supervision

· Are a member of the BACP or another professional body
