Job description

WANTED: THE REVENUE REBEL

ROLE: FUNDRAISING & PARTNERSHIPS VOLUNTEER

LOCATION: REMOTE / LONDON COFFEE SHOPS / BOARDROOMS

THE MISSION

PROJECT MONO is free for youth, but it isn’t free to run. We need gear, insurance, and the best creative mentors London has to offer. We skip the expensive buildings so every penny goes into the project—now we need someone to find those pennies (and pounds).

We need a Fundraiser who can tell our story in a way that makes people want to open their checkbooks. You’re the bridge between the "corporate world" and the "concrete reality."

THE GIG

  • The Hunt: Identifying and applying for micro-grants, council funds, and "social value" pots.

  • The Pitch: Building relationships with local London brands (clothing, music, tech) for sponsorship or equipment "in-kind."

  • The Strategy: Developing "The Merch Drop" and other creative ways for the project to generate its own income.

  • The Receipts: Helping us track our impact data so we can prove to donors that their money is changing lives.

ABOUT YOU

  • You’re a closer. You know how to ask for money without making it awkward.

  • You can write. You turn boring "funding criteria" into a compelling story about London’s future.

  • You’re persistent. A "No" from a donor is just the start of the conversation for you.

  • You believe that youth work deserves professional-grade funding.

THE COMMITMENT

Flexible and mostly remote. We need roughly 4-5 hours a week. Most of your work will be researching and writing, with occasional "Pitch Meetings" alongside the Project Manager.

THE PERKS

  • The Blueprint: You’ll be a founding member of a lean, scalable non-profit.

  • The Network: Direct access to London’s decision-makers and community leaders.

  • The Win: Nothing beats the feeling of securing the funding that makes a 48-hour "Drop" happen.

HOW TO APPLY

Respond with:

  1. The "Pitch": In 3 sentences, tell us why a brand like Nike or a local tech firm should give PROJECT MONO £1,000.

  2. Your Record: Briefly mention any experience you have with sales, grants, or convincing people to back an idea.

  3. The "Why": Why do you want to fund this project specifically?

PROJECT MONO. FUND THE FUTURE.
