About the role
Our clients, volunteers and supporters come from many different backgrounds and engage with us in different ways. We want to ensure they receive clear, consistent and accessible information wherever they find SSAFA online.
You will work as part of a volunteer team to maintain branch microsites and social media feeds, support local communication plans and help build and grow online channels. You may:

- Confident using social media applications, including adding and editing content
- Able to write clearly and accurately in English
- Respectful and non-judgmental when working with clients, supporters, volunteers, staff and partner organisations
- Interested in website maintenance and digital analytics; basic knowledge is helpful, but training will be provided
- Willing to learn and follow SSAFA’s brand guidelines, tone of voice and ways of working
What you’ll gain
- The opportunity to use your skills, knowledge and life experience to benefit others
- A welcoming and supportive SSAFA team
- Experience and digital communication skills that you can highlight on your CV and in job interviews
- Access to a range of training and learning opportunities
- The satisfaction of helping more people discover SSAFA’s services, volunteering opportunities and ways to support our work
