About Us
Becky’s Child Foundation is a registered national NGO in Uganda dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, women, persons with disabilities and the elderly through education, healthcare, disability inclusion and community empowerment programmes.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated volunteer to help grow our online presence through email marketing strategies, SEO recommendations and backlink building. Important: This is a fully external role. You will not be given any website login details, admin access, email account access, analytics logins or any internal credentials. All work will be done externally and shared with our team for implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare email marketing content, campaign ideas and sequences (we will send them)
- Conduct keyword research and provide clear SEO recommendations to improve Google rankings
- Create on-page SEO suggestions and content optimisation advice
- Develop and execute external backlink-building strategies (outreach, guest posts, directory submissions, etc.)
- Share monthly performance insights and actionable recommendations based on publicly available data
- Collaborate with the team via email or messaging apps
What We’re Looking For
- Experience or strong practical knowledge of email marketing, SEO and link building
- Ability to work completely externally without needing website or account access
- Familiarity with free/public SEO tools (Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs free version, etc.)
- Excellent written English and clear communication
- Self-motivated, organised and reliable
- Passion for supporting vulnerable children and communities in Uganda
Time Commitment
Flexible – a few hours per week at your own pace
