We’re seeking a compassionate, organised, and inspiring Volunteer Coordinator / Manager to build and lead the people-powered engine that makes SUNSHINE shine.

What You’ll Do

This isn’t just a coordinating role — it’s an opportunity to shape our entire volunteer experience from day one. You'll:

• Design and manage volunteer pathways — from recruitment to retention.

• Develop roles and opportunities — ensuring volunteers feel valued, empowered, and impactful.

• Create a vibrant, inclusive team culture — fostering belonging, passion, compassion and joy.

• Provide support and care — offering guidance and nurturing wellbeing in your team.

• Collaborate across SUNSHINE — working alongside Trustees and the Manager to ensure volunteers are embedded in every initiative.

You’ll help build a volunteer experience that doesn’t just support our charity — it defines it.
