Job description

Do you enjoy being organised and supporting others? The Hospice Lottery Partnership is looking for a Volunteer Office Administrator to join our friendly team in Tring. By volunteering your time and skills, you will play an important part in the smooth day to day running of our lottery, so we can continue raising vital funds for local charities.

We are a dog friendly office, and volunteer Sheila’s dog Daisy, often keeps us company, so well behaved dogs are welcome to come along and quickly become part of the team.

What you could be doing

• Processing incoming and outgoing mail
• Organising, filing and updating documents
• Supporting the team with general office administration
• Helping with ad hoc tasks as needed

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn. You do not need to be an expert, as training and support will be provided. You might be a good fit if you:

• Are friendly, approachable and happy to help
• Enjoy being organised and getting stuck in
• Are willing to learn new skills at your own pace
• Can work independently as well as part of a small team
• Communicate clearly and respectfully
• Understand the importance of confidentiality

Previous office or administration experience is helpful but not essential, as we can teach you everything you need to know.
