Bright Connections is a start‑up project on a mission to end social isolation for disabled people by creating spaces where friendships can grow, confidence can flourish, and every person feels seen, valued, and connected. We bring people together through joyful activities, shared experiences, and a community built on belonging — because together, we shine brighter.
Bright Connections began with one simple truth: no one should feel alone.
Inspired by a sister whose world had become small, isolated, and painfully quiet, Bright Connections was created to bring light back into the lives of disabled people who often feel forgotten. Many rely on others for daily care, yet still lack the one thing every human needs: friendship.
What started as one family’s determination to bring joy and connection to a loved one has grown into a movement, a movement that believes friendship is a human right, that joy should be accessible, and that community can transform lives.
Bright Connections is more than a charity. It’s a place where people meet, laugh, share, belong, and shine brighter together.
We are at the very beginning of our journey, and we’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to help us bring our identity to life.
What You’ll Create
-
A logo that captures our spirit: joyful, warm, inclusive, and full of light.
-
A vibrant brand identity that feels positive, empowering, and welcoming to disabled people and their families.
-
A simple brand toolkit (colours, typography, visual style) that we can use across our website, social media, and printed materials.
-
Visual assets that help us communicate our mission with clarity, warmth, and impact.
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience in graphic design, branding, or visual communication.
-
Someone who can translate emotion and mission into a cohesive visual identity.
-
A designer who enjoys collaboration and is excited by a blank canvas.
-
A passion for social impact and inclusive design.
-
Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment.
What You’ll Gain
-
The chance to shape the entire visual identity of a new charity from day one.
-
A meaningful portfolio piece rooted in purpose, storytelling, and community impact.
-
Experience collaborating with founders and early volunteers.
-
The knowledge that your creativity will help people feel seen, valued, and connected.
If you’re excited by the idea of building something beautiful and meaningful from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.
