Volunteer Role: Graphic Designer (Logo & Brand Identity)
Unlock YOUR Potential — Social Mobility Charity
Design the visual identity of a movement that will change lives across England.
Unlock YOUR Potential is a passionate, volunteer‑run social mobility charity supporting adults from working‑class, low‑income, and underserved communities. We break down barriers, open doors, and equip people with the skills, tools, networks, and confidence to thrive.
We are now seeking a talented, creative Graphic Designer to re-design our logo and brand identity, keeping the two tone/fade orange as our primary colours with white, and keeping the arrow symbol but maybe having the second arrow unlock from the first — the visual foundation that will help us become recognised across England as a bold, empowering force for social mobility.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the look, feel, and emotional impact of a charity at the very beginning of its journey. We want a vibrant positive, wmpowering and inspiring brand that really help change the lives of the people we help.
About the Role
As our Graphic Designer, you will lead the creation of a visual identity that reflects our mission, values, and ambition. Your work will help us communicate who we are, inspire trust, and build recognition as we grow nationally.
You will lead on:
1. Logo Design
-
Creating a powerful, memorable logo that captures our mission. Based on the info above.
-
Exploring concepts, colours, typography, and symbolism.
-
Producing final logo files suitable for digital and print use.
2. Brand Identity Development
-
Designing a cohesive visual identity that feels modern, empowering, and professional.
-
Developing colour palettes, fonts, graphic elements, and style guidelines.
-
Ensuring accessibility, clarity, and consistency across all materials.
3. Brand Assets
-
Creating templates for social media, presentations, posters, and documents.
-
Supporting the development of our brand story and visual tone.
Your creativity will help us stand out, build credibility, and connect with communities, partners, and supporters across the country.
