VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR — URBAN YOUTH

Urban Youth is building a movement — fast, flexible, street‑level youth work that drops into the heart of London. Pop‑ups. Creative sessions. Life‑skills. High‑octane youth work delivered by skilled, passionate volunteers.
To make that happen, we need someone who can bring people together, build culture, and turn a group of volunteers into a squad.
We’re recruiting our Volunteer Coordinator — a founding role for someone who loves people, thrives in organised chaos, and wants to help build something from the ground up.

Recruit, welcome and onboard new volunteers

Build a fun, supportive, high‑energy team culture

Coordinate rotas, roles and responsibilities

Support volunteers during sessions and pop‑ups

Make sure safeguarding and safety standards are followed

Help volunteers grow through training, coaching and feedback

Celebrate wins, boost morale, and keep the squad connected

Work with the wider team to deliver exciting youth programmes

Be the heartbeat of the Urban Youth volunteer movement
